Wonderful farmhouse! We visited The Bosque House for the weekend, it was much better than what we expected/whats seen in the pictures. The architecture is a good mix of contemporary and traditional elements, the cleanliness is outstanding, and the amenities are modern. All the 3 bedrooms are well furnished, with comfortable beds and super clean/modern bathrooms. Kids loved the attic area thats tucked in one of the bedrooms. The best part is caretakers and food - very well made and delicious, and just uplifts your mood. Always smiling staff and ready to help when needed. The farm is spread across 7 acre where you can take a casual walk in the morning/evening and enjoy the clean and pleasant air. Location is also excellent, just outside the city, tucked away 2-3 kms inside the highway. All in all, highly recommended.
There are few homestays that mirror in real life what is depicted in pictures. The Bosque House is truly one of them. With large open spaces, you feel you are one among nature. Add to this, the humble service offered by the staff makes it a place that is worth repeated visits. Its a perfect getaway to be in one's thoughts and at the same time makes you appreciative of the little things in life while spending moments with your loved ones.
We were a family of six including two super senior citizens. We had a wonderful experience at Bosque House beginning from the booking and prompt response of the host. The friendly and helpful staff, aesthetically furnished property, and enjoyable swimming pool all contributed to us having a rejuvenating holiday. The caretaker Anand is proactive and did his best to make our stay comfortable. Cook Hemu Sharma is an asset. Being vegetarians, we were fed simple yet tasty wholesome food in sufficient quantity. He kept in mind our request to keep the food non spicy. Arjun and Meera Vishwakarma and Soujanya keep the property spotlessly clean. The evening rain provided a perfect opportunity for us to enjoy the beautiful bonfire and hot bajjis at the specially designed and ideally situated fireplace in the verandah, On the whole we recommend Bosque House to a family or a group of friends looking for a great time in close proximity of Bangalore in a comfortable property that offers total privacy plus good food. Set amidst the rural backdrop, it is ideal to unwind and recharge one's internal batteries!
We had an amazing stay at this place last weekend. The host, caretakers and the cook were very prompt. They made our stay amazing and hassle free. The property, interior and cleanliness was top notch!
The Bosque House was a genuinely amazing experience for me and my friends when we recently had the pleasure of staying there. This homestay is surrounded by a verdant fruit and vegetable farm, which creates a remarkably tranquil and invigorating atmosphere. The home itself has a beautiful and practical modern minimalism style. The little pool was my favorite feature; it was great for a cool plunge in the hot summer afternoon and nights alike. The staff's outstanding service was one of the highlights of my trip. They responded quickly and graciously to any requests or questions I had. I had a great time and felt like a valued visitor. Another highlight of my stay at The Bosque House was the food. Every meal, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner, was simply fantastic, featuring a wide variety of fresh, locally sourced ingredients that the skilled in-house chef skillfully cooked. Last but not least, I must point out how well-kept the property was, with careful attention to every last detail. Overall, I heartily endorse The Bosque House to anybody seeking a tranquil, restorative vacation in a stunning setting with top-notch service and delectable cuisine.
Amazing place! Enjoyed every bit if our stay. The care takers are extremely humble, helpful and polite. The food was extremely delicious! Very homely meals. Will visit again
We family of 8 persons had a pleasent stay during one of the week end in April. On our arrival were greeted with home grown tender coconut water. Food is very homely and tastey. Thumps up to the cook. The mini pool is an added attraction. Being outdoor fallen leaves of the trees were a distraction. The plantation kept us cool during the summer heat. The rooms and furniture are simply amazing. Good place for a week end gate away.
We visited the Bosque House for an overnight stay with family. The road to the place is very good. Though the place is isolated, the entire area is covered with high stone walls and a heavy gate from safety POV. Owner can be reached through Instagram and WhatsApp for booking availability. The place has couple of caretakers and a cook. The house is built on an open concept with wide porch area with lot of chairs, rope swings and a small fireplace. The front yard is just big enough for some small outdoor games. The bedrooms are on a smaller side but if we are going there, we will be spending most of the time in the huge and open living and outdoor areas and be using the bedrooms only for sleeping. The bedrooms do not have AC, so it is slightly humid during a hot day. But it becomes pleasant during the night, thanks to the high ceiling and windows for cross ventilation. The bathrooms are huge and clean. There is a beautiful pool with an outdoor shower and deck chairs to relax. Special mention to the caretaker who called up in the morning of the check-in to understand our food preference and was there to help always. And they have got an amazing person Mr.Hemu Sarma to cook delicious food. He showed a menu card with one veg starter, one non-vegetarian starter, one main course dish with roti and rice to choose from the listed items. Even in rice, they have an option of jeera, ghee, plain or even biryani. The quantity is more than sufficient. We went on a rainy day and cook Hemu made crispy onion and chilli pakoras with tasty tea. The attic is an amazing place to be for kids with lots of board game options. The place is full of roosters, hens, ducks and turkeys. You will wake up with the sound of peacocks and roosters. Since it is a farmhouse, you will have many kinds of insects in the night that come for the light. Don't worry, they are harmless and don't disturb you. But the owner has thoughtfully installed fullsize retractable nets in all the windows and doors. I suggest you close the net doors before it gets dark if you don't want the insects to come. The kitchen cabinets have enough cutlery. It looks like the owner has personally visited the IKEA Bangalore store to select the dishes like one shops for his own home. We liked the dishes and cups so much that we stopped at IKEA on our way back and got the same set of cups and glasses for our home. Overall, it was a very happy stay with my family with few small issues here and there which were rightly addressed by the caretakers on time. Thank you Team Bosque House for hosting us.
