The Bodhi Tree Hotel - Hotel in Leh - Leh Ladakh, India

We arrived from Singapore and stayed for a total of 6 nights at Bodhi tree. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and made us feel at home. They even have outsourced laundry services which is chargeable but yet helpful. The breakfast buffet menu was good and consistent. The best part was during the last day of checkout we had to checkout quite early to catch the flight. As per our request, even before the kitchen was open the restaurant manager and staff prepared and packed a simple breakfast for us to have at the Airport. A kind gesture indeed and much appreciated by my friends.

Pros Near Leh main market Good internet connectivity Courteous staff Nice view from balcony Cons It is a very small hotel so if you want to spend time in hotel, there is nothing much to do. They have one restaurant with indoor and outside seating and that's it. They have not planned spaces, experiences or provided corners for people to sit. The least they can do is have a well curated library of books. The food was ok. It is a decent hotel but it is very overpriced for the services that they provide. As a lot of people would be coming to their place via direct flight. They should put in place recommended practices and support to adjust to the high altitude.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious. The view from balcony is mesmerizing. The spread of food in breakfast and dinner is awesome. Hot water facility in the room is 24 hrs. The warmth on the bed with electric carpet is very comfortable. The service levels from the staff is excellent. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks to Padma and team for making our stay comfortable. Worth the price!!

Stayed there for three nights, well maintained place with helpful staff. Food was amazingly tasty and enough spread @ Dinner & Breakfast. (Head Chef Mr. Mohan) Neat & clean linen, comfortable bed and enough bathroom toiletries with hot water for 24 hrs. 5*** for their Hospitality.

Padma, her husband and Mr. Sonam. Kudos to these people for being the kindest souls ever. My husband and I came here to spend our honeymoon. We were uncomfortable with few things and we moved out. But we are surely coming back because the owners came to us and was extremely apologetic and also did everything they could to take care of us. They are the kindest souls. If you face any problems here, please do contact any of these people here and the kind of hospitality they offer is above and beyond. We unfortunately had to move out this time but due to how caring, loving and warm these people are, my husband and I will come back as their assurance for a good stay means a lot through their kind gestures.

We had a wonderful time at Bodhi Tree. The hotel is new, the staff is very attentive (thank you Norboo ji and Sonam ji). Everyone made sure our needs were met. Food options (breakfast and lunch) were tasty and varied. Highly recommended and will return!

The place is wonderful. The garden area is beautiful to sit and relax. The food is very good. They even accept special request. The staff are excellent, especially Raju from dinning section. He made sure everything is taken care of. Soman and Yogesh are also very welcoming and helpful

We stayed for 3 nights at The bodhi tree, 2 days on arrival and 1 day while returning back. Bodhi tree deserves a 5* for their hospitality. In terms of welcoming guests, quality of rooms and service, the hotel deserves a 4+* overall rating. Rooms are modern, spacious, with very good interiors. Toilet supplies are top notch, never had to ask for extra towels or anything; the bathroom is well stocked. Location is good with views of Himalayas. Restaurant is good with very good buffet breakfast. Staff is very helpful and takes good care of guests. For a place like Leh, the hotel is one of the best. Mr Sonam and Mr. Raju ensures that guests get the best experience. Overall a very pleasant experience and recommended for other travellers.
