The Black Pearl Koramangala - Barbecue restaurant in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Came here for a team lunch from office, The overall pirate theme and ambience is nice, but the BBQ buffet was not that good. The BBQs were just normal only, and the other food items including main course were not upto mark for the price of food. Overall options were very limited. Service was just okay, but some of the places were not clean enough. Overall good for the variety pirate theme, rest of the stuff is not upto mark.

Black pearl is situated in Koramangala is pleasant treat for anyone who is into themed restaurants. Fans of the brilliant movie franchise, "Pirates of the Caribbean", would immediately know what the theme is, just with the name of the hotel. It's got a pirate ship themed set up, with pirate statutes and skeletons lying all over the place. An absolute fun set up for sure. Coming to the important aspects, the food was good. The menu had very similar dishes to that of barbeque nation with the same starters and the same barbeque style set up. Delicious food and very good service as well. A good variety of desserts which, you guessed it, are pirate themed. There is also a grill and pizza live corner. The set up is perfect for a good get together with a group of friends to drink and enjoy and maybe sing some sea shanties as well! The only downside was that it did seem a bit not clean enough. It's a very ambitious ambience and decor, but the maintenance seemed to have been not done well enough. I personally just took it optimistically and pictured it to be a wrecked pirate ships interior! Overall, a great fun experience!

Went for corporate team dinner Pros- valet parking, ambiance(looks wise great- fully pirates themed seating etc in a boat) smell wise - foul smell Found in certain places, good manager. Desserts were good. Con's- I'm a vegetarian, food smells bad for few items(not sure if they were old cooked but really foul smell was present on paneer tikka. All options on buffet table seemed dried out. Nothing was delicious as such. Live counter served chats but pizza was not available due to some issue. Beer was unavailable in our package due to shortage.

Was expecting better, as my experiace with kaadubeesanahalli was better. Food: 3/5 Ok. Felt veg options were very less compare to other branch and even the live counter there are limited. Taste wise also, even the palav/biryani was not that great. Grilled items were ok. Even desrerts were not much and not that tasty. Service: 2/5 avarage. Booking was at 12pm. And they started servicing after 12.45pm. Then also they are not much bothered on needs. Live counters were not fully functional till 1.30pm. Like jelebi were not at place till the time we come out. Atmosphere: 4/5 good. Nice pirot theme. Overall not good experiance.

The Black pearl buffet restaurant located in Koramangala, 4th floor near jyoti nivas college. We went for team lunch and we had negative experience. The starters were not satisfactory, chicken half cooked, chicken wings no salt, fish is very salty, prawn, mushrooms, potato cutlet over cooked/burned, panner was raw and coated with wet masala. Main courses are also not very tasty and less varieties. Desert some what OK. The atmosphere theme was setup like a pirate ship which is what little enjoyable. Service also very poor, long wait time, no tissues in table, no feedback obtained from anyone, welcome drink too served late and they are not ready to check if we are willing to take any dishes, Non veg Buffet charged 900 Rs and veg 800 which we felt not wroth compared to other buffet restaurants.

Parking for two wheeler can be a pain and you might have to park on the streets along the border. Coming to the food, The starters served before the grill are pretty good. The grill itself was ok, the prawns and chicken were a bit bland and could have been better. I tried one of their pirate themed beverage bora bora which was pretty good and my favorite part of the meal were the desserts. The staff were polite and eager to help. The ambience is cool for a pirate themed place, but the ventilation could be better and there were loud noises from the club beneath it. The buffet price varies based on the day and the time you go there, so plan your visit accordingly. Overall a good experience.

There were very limited options for veg. Only 3 to 4 veg starters, taste was not great for most of the dishes. The atmosphere was good.
