We had a great family holiday at Bison. The location right by the forest is amazing and we heard a few roars. The staff were really attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and were also great with safari arrangements and wildlife information. Very child friendly too.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Bison Wildlife Kabini Resort, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene beauty and tranquil ambiance that embraced the entire resort. The staff at Kabini Resort deserves the highest praise for their warm hospitality and exceptional service. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. During my stay, I had the opportunity to interact with the manager, Vinod. His expertise truly enhanced my experience at the resort. He had an incredible wealth of knowledge about the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit the Kabini region. Whether it was identifying bird species or sharing fascinating facts about the resident animals, his insights added a whole new dimension to my stay. He personally accompanied guests on wildlife safaris and nature walks, providing invaluable guidance and sharing their extensive knowledge along the way. The best highlight of my stay was the tiger crossing!! I was stunned. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Kabini, do not miss it! I must say, whether you're a nature enthusiast, a wildlife lover, or simply in need of a peaceful getaway, this resort is a haven of serenity and luxury.

I had made a booking here for my parents and they loved everything about the place. The rooms are amazing as they give you a luxurious tent experience. It's a must visit if you want to get completely detached from the city life for a couple of days. The staff was very kind and helpful with my parents. They loved the jungle safari as the guide took special interest in explaining about the jungle and the way they try to track the big cats by listening to alarm calls and foot prints. The guide was very knowledgeable. I think the highlight for them was the bush dinner. The manager(Vinod) took special care of them and made sure all their needs were met. They basically felt like home. :) Thanks to the management and staff for making my parents visit memorable. :) - As narrated by my parents. :)

I had the opportunity to spend two nights at the BISON RESORT recently , and I must put on record that I am going to cherish the nice memories of the stay for pretty long. The location of the resort is amazing, and one can enjoy the views of the Kabini backwaters in the background of the Nagarhole and Bandipur National Parks from the room. The tents give a feeling of the 'Little Governor's Camp' of Masai Mara, Kenya. The interiors of the common areas and the tents are carefully designed and speak for the owners' passion and love for the nature. I was even more impressed by the behaviour of all the staffs of the resort. This was something beyond my imagination. The service boys, the cook, the night guards, the boatman, all of them were eager to help me round the clock with big smiles......And few of them are real genius. I learned that one of them is an expert snake-catcher. And, the guy who took me for bird-watching (sorry friend, I forgot your name) is not only brilliant, but also a very caring person, whom I would have loved to spend more time with during the morning walk. The binge reading of the book "Wild Tales from the Wild" by Mr. Saad Bin Jung during my stay was surely "the icing on the cake " Thank you TEAM BISON for everything.

Excellent property in the wilderness. Staying in luxury tent is an experience in itself. The location is beautiful and connecting you to the jungle. The package included boat ride, coracle ride and nature walk which are really wonderful experiences. I personally would like to thank Mr. Syed from the resort for a wonderful hospitality. His knowledge is impeccable. Entire staff in the resort is very friendly and caring. The food is excellent in all forms i.e. breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. For tiger safari, booking jeep safari is advisable. Overall staying at Bison was a wonderful experience.

Excellent view and location!! Tents are large and very nicely decorated... Good food .. both for breakfast and Lunch/ Dinner..

My stay at The Bison Wildlife Resort Kabini was truly enchanting. The serene ambiance, warm and welcoming staff, and cozy cottages made for a comfortable and memorable experience. The restaurant offered a delightful culinary experience with a variety of delicious cuisine. The natural beauty of Kabini surrounding the resort provided a tranquil and serene atmosphere. We had a family vacation at the Bison resort in September (which we were told was off season). The staff were friendly, accommodative and welcoming. Stay- the entire resort is well curated, doesn't feel like a hotel but rather a luxury cabin in the woods (or tent in the woods). We stayed at the luxury waterfront tents- and personally enjoyed the direct backyard access to the river. Food/Service- Food was very good, the kitchen staff accommodated some of our food restrictions without complaints. They organized a bush dinner/campfire by the river which was a fun experience. Special call out to Thomas, Alva and Edison. (Ask to see these three when you visit) Activities- we unfortunately weren't lucky enough to spot any big cats, but saw a lot of the other animals which was great (elephants, dhole, gaur and many birds). We recommend doing the nature walk/bird walk- our guide Raj was well versed and helped us identify many species. (We even saw river otters!). Our naturalist, Abdul Shez helped manage our whole trip and was an informative guide during the safari. Overall very relaxing experience, surrounded by nature and animals.
