A Heaven of Hospitality and Heritage at The Bhuj House...!!! A tapestry of old-world charm and modern comforts, The Bhuj House, under the stewardship of the Bhujwalla family, is an oasis of tranquility and gracious hospitality. From the moment we stepped through the entrance, we were enveloped by an aura of warmth and serenity. The Bhujwalla family, especially Katie and Jehan, exuded an infectious warmth that made us feel instantly at home. The house itself is a testament to the family's rich heritage, with its walls adorned with family portraits spanning over a century. Antique furniture, textiles, and accessories seamlessly blend with modern amenities, creating a harmonious fusion of the past and present. Our room was heaven of comfort, with crisp white linens, ample space, and a touch of old-world elegance. The courtyard, with its charming swing(hichka), served as an idyllic retreat, transporting us to a bygone era. The culinary delights at The Bhuj House were nothing short of exceptional. Chef Santoshkumar's culinary prowess is evident in his delectable dishes, showcasing a tantalizing blend of local Indian, Kutchi, Parsi, and Western cuisines. Each meal was a symphony of flavors, catering to every palate. The long meal talks on a dining table with the other foreign guests served an opportunity to explore & exchange sociocultural, political perceptions to one another which was a cherry on a cake...!!! The staff, led by the ever-attentive Mukesh, Bharat, and the night watchman, epitomized the essence of Indian hospitality. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made our stay truly unforgettable. The Bhuj House exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. We left rejuvenated and deeply touched by the Bhujwalla family's hospitality. Our stay at The Bhuj House was not merely a vacation; it was an immersion into the rich cultural tapestry of Bhuj. We eagerly anticipate our return to this heaven of hospitality and heritage.

Nous avons passe un moment qui restera grave dans nos souvenir dans cet etablissement. Un lieu de calme, une ambiance "comme a la maison", des rencontres exceptionnels et un personnel tres attachant. Un grand merci au manager de l'etablissement, d'une grande gentillesse qui a rendu ce sejour inoubliable. Nous y avons tres bien mange. Merci et hate de revenir.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at The Bhuj House. Our room was large with a super comfortable bed and antique furnishings. Maybe the best part was the hospitality of the owner, Jehan and the staff. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served at a large table in the courtyard where we had nice conversations with others staying there. Lots of books, historic photos and old furniture in the front room made it feel like we were staying with an old family friend. Book ahead because there are only a few rooms.

Our time in The Bhuj House made a difference to our stay in Bhuj. It is a peaceful and relaxing place to return to after a day in the surrounding area. The staff are extremely helpful in every way possible, the food is delicious, the rooms very comfortable and well furnished. I cannot recommend this homestay more highly. Thank you to you all for making our time a very memorable and special experience.

Un endroit qu' on prefererai garder secret. J ai sejourne 4 nuits dans cet hotel. C est un havre de paix magnifique decore. Il est possible de manger sur place une nourriture delicieuse et variee en partageant de bonnes discussions avec les autres voyageurs ou le proprietaire des lieux. Une mention speciale pour Mukesh qui est aux petits soins et donne de tres bons conseils pour visiter la region. Il m a conseille un bon chauffeur pour visiter la region. Je reviendrai

A charming place, full of character and warmth, run by Jehan & Katie. We were pleasantly surprised when the manager Mr. Desai messaged us in the morning to ask us what we wanted for dinner - which was a gourmet's delight. Great conversations with the family and other guests.

Kudos and all appreciation to The Bhujwalla family, and especially Katie and Jehan!!! We literally felt an amazing sense of peace and happiness being there. Perfect for a vacation or business travel, this is a classy, sparkling clean, eco friendly and upscale home stay. The Bhuj house beautifully combines in a masterful way all the old world charm (such as family pictures from over 100 years ago, antique style textiles, accessories and furniture, books, etc) and practically all the modern comforts, (such as large super comfortable AC rooms, Wi-Fi access, updated bathrooms with modern amenities, hand shower fixtures, vegan soap, vegan shampoo, toilet tissue, etc.) The bed sheets were sparkling clean fresh and white. We instantly fell in love with the house, but especially the courtyard, which extends into a dining area. It has a swing (hitchka), which literally has the power to transport you into a different era. Meals are scrumptious and have plenty of variety, so one can experience local Indian and Kutchi cuisine, Parsi cuisine or Western cuisine, depending on your preferences. Each and every member of their staff is ever so helpful and kind. Their manager Mukesh, Abu, Chef Santkumar, Bharat, Hafiza and the night watchman are absolutely delightful and all deserve very special praise. The Bhuj House exceeded all our expectations and we came back refreshed and extremely happy. We will be visiting Bhuj and staying at The Bhuj House again sometime very soon.

Had a comfortable stay last week, well maintained house in the heart of Bhuj. Beautiful interior which showcases its history. The staffs were polite and attentive to our needs, they even arranged for Rtpcr tests needed for our flight back. Their food is one of the best in Bhuj and would recommend staying there. Worth the price!
