The Bhoj Company - Bengali restaurant in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

The main USP of this restaurant is its food. Other things are not upto the mark. There was cockroach in the table and the dishes was not not clean properly I had to change the dish twice. Lastluly if you want best Bangladeshi food you may go and try this out.

Whenever I visit New Market, The Bhoj is a compulsory place for my lunch/dinner. I visited last year and the quality of the food really tasted soo good. There were many customers to attend but still the waiters were attending to each and everyone they can within minimal time. But last week to my surprise I found the taste was not that up to the mark and the quality decreased to some extent. Infact I found a bowl which was cracked all over!! The rice they provided was not basmati rice which they used to provide. Also, three women sitting just opposite to us have also complained about the rice as they were provided the rice which might have cooked in the afternoon.The waiters were soo busy that they made us wait for a plate of rice upto 15 mins and then we moved to another waiter for it. I would like to request the manager of the restaurant to take a look into this such as quality, utensils provided to the customers, waiter attending the customers.

If you're looking for food that feels like home cooked, is authentic in taste without being overspiced or heavy, then look no further. If I was staying in Kolkata for long, I would without doubt have my main meal of the day here everyday, for that would be my comfort food. The ambience is very basic. But neat and clean. They serve with love. Food options are plenty.

Good restaurant for authentic Bengali food. The only problem is quantity. Some items are very less in quantity. Sunday is quite crowded.

This is the best Vetki Pantua I have ever eaten. Their mutton kosha was also very tasty. Vetki Pantua 5 on 5 Mutton kosha 5 on 5 Chicken curry 4 on 5 Mixed vegetables 5 on 5

Visited this branch for the first time.. Actually we went there to 'treat' one of our friend before his marriage, what we bengalis called "Aiburovaat".. We didn't find any thalis in their menu, so we went for Ala Carte.. We had, *Plain Rice Rs50 *Vetki Paturi Rs280 *Jinga Alu Posto Rs140 *Jhuri Alu Bhaja Rs50 *Chicken Curry Rs130 *Bhteki Fish Fry Rs180 *Chatney Rs70 *Misti Doi Rs40 *Rasagolla Rs40 Quality and taste of the food were good.. But as we visited late afternoon (around 5pm), we couldn't find few items like Daal, Papad, Mutton and Morog Polao.. Overall experience was good..

Food quality is too good, but service is not on point.

My recent visit to this restaurant was truly outstanding. From the warm and welcoming ambiance to the delectable dishes, every aspect of the dining experience exceeded my expectations. The attentive service added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend trying their Chicken Khosha - it's a culinary masterpiece. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal.
