The Basil Street - Restaurant in Durg, Bhilai - Durg, India

The Basil Street is located in padmanabhpur , Durg. Decor is pulchritudinous.The ambiance is welcoming and charming. The menu has various options from chinese to BBQ.I ordered a non-veg platter with chocolate shake, cold coffee with ice cream and mojito. The Mutton Seekh Kabab's meat wasn't fresh and it was hard to chew, chicken and fish was median. Staffs were attentive and service was good.

The food is delicious, the ambience outside is very cosy and romantic (menace of mosquitoes is a problem), otherwise a good dining experience for a family. There is plenty of space to move around and for children to run around and take good snaps. The staff is friendly. They didn't have buffet when we went but they have it written live BBQ. The washrooms are okay. The non-veg platter, pasta etc which we ordered were delicious and was reasonably priced. It seems a good place to conduct parties and weddings. There is plenty of parking spaces which is great.

The restaurant looks stunning from outside, the moment you get in you see a large restaurant with a decent decor. The outside lawn is a place where one may like to seat but they didn't allow us to seat there with some silly justification. Now come to the food, the taste was just ok. We ordered Chinese, when we asked for ketchup, the service boy brought some small sachets of ketchup. Overall the food and service does not justify what you pay for.

One of the best varities of cuisines available here, totally worth the price, lemon coriander chicken of basil street is one of the best dish I've ever tried in bhilai.

In Bhilai,one of the best restaurants . While they may be on the pricier side, the flavors they present are an exquisite treat that justifies the cost. Don't miss out on their delectable pizzas, and for biryani enthusiasts, Dahi Kurkre is a must-try, among other delectable dishes that promise tantalizing tastes. Ambience was the main attraction, food was good but only fancy items(continental,starters and all) were good. Indian food could have been better(biryani). Also a good place for photogenic people who look for nice background and lighting, visit at night for better experience and ambience The staff was good and service was fast. Good experience

Basil Street In Bhilai we have very few restaurants for fine dine experience. Had visited this place for the fourth time and will try to share the experience I had. Pros- The moment you enter the place it gives you vibe of Middle East. The ambience is classy and well lit with good parking space. My experience with the Thai starters and Chinese cuisine was fantastic. We tried Multiple dishes 1. Chicken Sizzler's 2. Veg Sizzler's 3. Paneer Tikka 4. Crispy veg Thai 5. BBQ Chicken lollipop Cons - During weekend getting reservations is difficult sometimes. My suggestion is don't go for Indian cuisine as it's spicy and oily. Also there was a major drawback which is never addressed i.e the place is freezing. Although i'm not a person with a sweet tooth but to tick mark my wish list tried Cheesecake and Gulab jamun which even more disappointed me. To summarise, have some quality time with your family if you want, as the place is cozy. And serve variety of cuisine to try

I highly recommend this place if you wanna encounter the real unprofessional dining experience, It was our first and more likely the last visit. The staff here is untrained and unaware of what they serve in their fancy menu. One of our order was served wrong (served rice instead of noodles in sizzler), instead of replacing it back, the waitress tried to convince us to accept what was served. Another waiter was like "if you had it before, you should know how it's gonna be" not sure what he smoked. when we explained about this silly thing to the manager he laughed and made the whole thing awkward trying to convince us, said my sister "no worries ma'am, you won't get fat if you eat rice" yeah thanks, but no thanks! After all the hassle and hesitation they served a small portion of noods but the egg had a musty smell and we left! Food Ratings : Chicken Salad : 5/5 (perfect) Bbq wings : 3/5 (deep fried and bbq sauce with chilli flakes) Lemon chicken : 3/5 (inadequate quantity) Sizzler : 2/5 (wouldn't recommend) I'm rating 2 stars just for the perfect salad.
