The Base Inn - Hotel in Puducherry - Villupuram, India

A decent hotel for a decent pricing. Parking is tough between pillars. No adequate toiletries. The bath towel was not satisfactory. The AC was buzzing out with a small sound throughout the night. The hotel staffs were also very friendly. No one coming to this hotel can forget the warm welcome and senoff by the security.. He has a grace in his speach and actions.

It was indeed a great experience to stay here. The location was such a vibe there. All the beaches, cafes, temple are easily accessible. The hotel staff were really awesome and helpful, they also provide us scooty that too they charged minimal amount as compared to book any other rental bikes there. Best part was security guard (kadar/kedar) who were always there to help or take care. And will be always there to greet you in welcoming way and asked about our day, if we've eaten or not. : ) So in my opinion you MUST STAY there if you want great experience in a budget.

The rooms were neat and clean. Bathrooms are good and clean. , Very silent no traffic sound . The room was spacious the warm welcome and gentle ,humble send off by the kundu watchman is so nice, treated us well rare to see these kind of peoples in unknown places.

We stayed in this location for 2 days and the homestay is good for staying family and the parking is good and staff too, The management is good too, The watchman Khadarsab is very friendly and good Sandeep who brought the things and guide us the room, overall good experience. The location of the base inn is in middle so here localities and so much traffic.

Rooms are good. Nearby restaurants are not that good. Car parking is in the ground floor between pillars. It's very difficult to park vehicles inside. Watchman Khadar is very friendly and he brings chocolates to kids staying there.

The hotel is one of the best places to stay. The staffs were friendly and supportive. Janagan from the housekeeping was always helpful. The rooms are clean and hygienic

The hotel is good and located in a very good place . But the bedsheets bedcovers aren't clean and don't look hygienic. Rest all is good especially the security guard Mr Kadar is always smiling n friendly.

One of the best places to stay in Pondicherry, an amazing place, very friendly staff and an amazing Watchman ( Khadar Bhai ) There watchman was the one who spoke to us very friendly and greeted us nicely. The Hotel must look after the watchman as it was because of him me and my family came to base inn Over all an amazing experience the AC, food, beds, washrooms and all were clean and proper Highly recommend this place Will refer to family and friends. Thank you Base Inn and Khadar Bhai. We will soon visit again.
