The Barge - Brewpub in Mysuru - Mysuru, India

This was one of the best brewery and good food before but now its worse. Ambience is bad now. The chairs are bent, broken. The floor cement is cracked open. The service was so damn slow. Wheat beer was okay. Peanut masala was good. Egg chilli was okay. Egg fried rice had no taste at all. No maintenence at all. The lawn was dry. It's time for them to renovate the pub.

We were 2 people and ordered 2 pitchers and 3 dishes which cost us around 2900. Rooftop is close but they have good space for dance and all, open environment is the plus point.

The ambience here is delightful, and although I've gone for lunch, this place will be truly enchanting at night. The pleasant melodies fill the air, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

Food was normal as expected and atmosphere is just awesome. We visited Friday and karaoke event was there on same day. We really enjoyed our time. Price is bit more compared to other 3*/4* hotels.

Around Mysore accessible to the ring road, this is the best brew pub. Beer tasted mild and good. Food was good except the chilli fish. They played some decent music and service was great and pretty quick. There's enough parking space outside the pub so it's not a hassle at all. Would recommend this place in Mysore if you are trying to spend time with your friends with some beer

Unexpectedly VERY MEDIOCRE BEER - Bland & Flat (Like stone flat) - 1/2 of the menu is not available at any given point - Few Pieces of Chilly Chicken were undercooked (good excercise for the Jaw) - Blood Red Coloured food items Pizza was very ok with no / spot flavouring and dough was not baked properly. Cold Frozen chicken chunks were served. The server was not very sure about the availability of the menu. Waiting time was moderate. Out door setting with no fan - ventilation arrangement. I think it is a call for the owner / Manager to look into this as - i can see it going downhill very soon.

We went for lunch on a Sunday. The place has an open parking opposite to the restaurant. The outdoors seating was full so we took the indoor. Since the place was full it took little time to place the order. Service was quick and good. The taste and quality of food was also good. Their beer brew was top notch.. very refreshing.. we tried the wheat.. the outdoor seating allows guests to smoke. So if you don't want that smell then take the indoor.. it is a short drive from the GRS park.

Excellent place to get together, chat with family or whisper sweet nothing to your better half. 4 choices of craft beer and tasters are free :-) beer came with salted peanuts complimentary. The chicken tikka, dal tadka, and Kulchas were perfect. A bit on the spicy side but I'm sure they could tone it down if you asked. Oh and great music. Edit 26/3/23: went for lunch today and it was extremely hot. No fans, no AC. No shade for car/scooter parking. Avoid daytime. Food and craft beer great as usual.
