The Artist House, Udaipur - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

A perfect place if you are in Udaipur as a tourist. The hotel has a range of bunk beds and luxury rooms with access to a lush swimming pool in the middle of the property. Since the hotel was a theatre and they've converted it into a club, it flaunts itself as the biggest club in the city. The sound system and the experience is really unique. If you are not looking for a quiet evening and want to dance yourself out, this is the location to be in. The staff is very cooperative. They cleaned our room at 2 am and provided pillows within 2 minutes of our request. This is not a hotel, it's a vibe.

It was a great stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful and we had lots of fun in the pool. We had to ask staff to clean room before entering and AC was having issues along with cleaning the toilet again but the service was swift once asked at reception. Loved the stay

The most notable thing about this hotel is Mr. Piyar, a very efficient restaurant employee thanks to whom the guests were able to have breakfast. The hotel is in need of maintenance and renovation, currently a bit abandoned. Hotel clearly overpriced in relation to what it offers.

A Huge Disappointment! The hype about this place does not even meet standard expectations of a basic hotel! My recommendation do not visit, the staff has such lazy and disinterested attitude towards the guest! I have a kid of 1.5 year old ,When asked for lunch the restaurant staff mentioned he won't serve before 1.00pm! Basic french fries was not available ! Bathrooms are unhygienicly kept! TV in the room had no recharge, had to call 7 times and wait for 2 hours! 1 glass of milk for kid was charged at 100 rs! Udaipur has huge number of hotels with great hospitality and this place does not even meet basic hospitality standards. You don't feel welcomed and the staff behaviour is very rude ! Don't visit

Worst stay I have ever stayed in. Never book this property. Don't spoil your time and money. The swimming pool you will see in the pics, it exists only to attract customers. But it will be dirty as always and you cannot use it. There would be no parking at night for customers staying in hotel. As they organize party at night and all the parking space will he utilized by them and your car will be parked on road outside. Even if you ask the staff for something, they will ask you to post complaints on google reviews. The management is rude and unprofessional. To add on, you will hear loud music in room till late night around 3:00 am, book this property if you can sleep with this loud music and bear this pathetic customer service.

The room was good. Location very good. Food Excellent. But room readiness was very poor. Every time had to follow up for water and routine things that should have been in room

Some rooms are good some are just shaded you won't like to live in While the reception has a come-come cat but the girls on the counter was the most rude and unhelpful lady. She had no help attitude unlike what a hotel reception should have, if it wasn't a pre book and paid booking made by me I would not have stayed just seeing the attitude she showed. Though it seems harsh but it reflects the kind of treatment you will get there which was not hopeful. Not only on arrival but even when we were leaving we asked for some water which instead of helping just showed us the finger to the restaurant where I must go and get it myself, no helping staff was assigned and she didn't even bother that we would be thirsty as it was a sunny day and we had just arrived from outside. During our 3 nights stay only restaurant staff was found good and helpful especially the manager who also was a bar tender. Very helpful and polite guy. Less restaurant staff but really helpful and genuine people.

A fuir ! Nous avons choisi de depenser un peu plus pour cette nuitee pour faire plaisir a nos enfants afin qu'ils se detendent au bord d'une piscine a cette etape du circuit. La grosse arnaque ! La piscine n'etait pas entretenue ! L'eau verte, poisseuse avec des feuilles et des insectes... C'est lorsque que decontenances, nous nous sommes assis sur les bains de soleil que le personnel s'est mis a enlever les feuilles et jeter des grains de sel au bord de la piscine... La nuit : horrible ! Les murs tremblaient sous le son de la discotheque attenante. Je me suis plainte mais l'hotel s'en est moque.
