The Amarjeet Hotel - Hotel in Darjeeling, Kurseong - Darjeeling, India

Kurseong is not a tourist spot as such. The 'Cafe Kurseong Diaries' and the 'Amarjeet Hotel' are of from the same owner. Here are the plus, 1. Food is exceptional. 2. Rooms are good and clean. 3. Close by Heritage Railway Station and a view point Eagle's Crag. Now the minus, 1. The water taps were leaking, so water wastage. No attention given. 2. Pro-active replacement of towels and toiletries did not happen. 3. No balcony space, has such to dry the wet clothes. 4. WiFi, passcode which expires after 8 hours. So, of you plan to carry your office work and at the mid-night if the validity expires, you may have to pick additional passcode to continue more than expired hours. Overall 4/5, considering its not a tourist spot, they have maintained really well, I would say.

Road-side hotel near bus stand and station. Good communication. You can also see beauty of nature from a step beside the hotel. Rooms are maintained well but you cannot see the nature from all rooms. Food is slightly costlier than local market, but hygienic. We enjoyed 10'' pizza here.

I have seen Amarjeet Hotel from the time it was a restaurant and sweet shop. It was built into a hotel during my childhood days and has been renovated into what it is today. It is now a primary tourist attraction and provides comfortable and huge rooms where you can spend your time after visiting the nearby tourist hubs of Kurseong.

one of the property in the prime location of small hill town of Kurseong. no proper reception. it is in between the restaurant. no staff is courteous enough to help you check in with your luggage. property requires maintenance. staff only looking for extra money. have to ask repeatedly for items you require. hotel doesn't have drinking water except mineral bottle water, can you imagine? all facilities worn out or broken. room and toilet ventilation is poorest. The TV is not functional due to non recharge of set top box. even during check out, hotel reluctant to give invoice and later gave unsigned unstamped copy of print out. no lifts. no proper parking or disembarking place in front of hotel. too exorbitant charges of food items.

Very bad location , no parking slot . Food is too much overpriced and taste not upto the mark . If you decide to stay here , then ok though not very convenient for them who take own car but don't take food from them . Too much , I say too much overpriced

Well connected adjacent to Kurseong Railway Station and the Taxi stand. The Kurseong market is also just 2 minutes walk. Rooms are OK. Sometimes geysers in some rooms may not function.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn't wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting

Great restaurant, great food you should only visit this restaurant whenever you go kurseong, I guarantee it you cannot find food better than here from anywhere in kurseong. Must visit and highly recommend.
