The Alchemy - Restaurant in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

This is one of the best restaurants in whole of varakala. Great food, good ambience and excellent staffs. Got there by accident but ended up having food from there multiple times. Don't look at the rating, its somehow very low! A simple negative would be the waiting time after ordering.

We came to Varakala for only three days but we ate there everyday. Food was amazing, sooo tasty, the staff was kind... Everything was perfect ! Thanks again

Don't fall by the facade of the restaurant, we went by 10-10.30 in the morning and had the worst experience, the mandi they served was cold and not even 1 food (be it the briyani or kothu parotta) nothing was actually good and everything was cold, when asked they didn't even accept it and said it was all freshly prepared.

It was an extremely disappointing dining experience. Firstly, the Al Faham Mandi, which is typically known for its delicious flavors and aromatic spices was a huge letdown. It lacked the authentic taste I was expecting and the overall presentation was quite subpar. It felt like a watered-down version of what it should have been. Additionally, the lime soda juice I ordered turned out to be a complete disappointment. Instead of being refreshing and tangy, it had an unpleasant bitter taste that made it undrinkable. It was far from what I had anticipated and left me quite dissatisfied. To make matters worse, the beef roast I ordered was raw and clearly undercooked. It's disheartening when a supposedly well-established restaurant fails to serve properly cooked food. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the quality of the food I received here. The lack of flavor, the bitter lime soda and the undercooked beef roast were major disappointments that marred my entire dining experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and takes steps to improve the quality control in their kitchen. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant for a satisfying meal and I encourage others to explore alternative dining options in the area.

Worst Ever! High Recommended not to Try. Poor Service. Takes much of time to prepare the garbage and serve. Order didn't even sync with what has been served twice. Even the billing was done wrongly. Best switch your hotel. They claim themselves that they were shortage with 2 staffs at all times and gone for leaves. Highly suspect atleast they've gone for better restaurant! Too much food colour used hands turn reddish which goes off only after few days.. food is average, lacks staff and takes a lot of time.

I ordered Bun Paratha , Nool Paratha and Chicken Fry. I got dhoddali instead of bun paratha its over fried and burned. I thought Nool Paratha they made with rubber. Its too rubbery and cannot have a piece from that. Chicken fry with lot of masala and food color. I thought the chef never taste that. I never recommend this shop. Please stay away from this Restaurant. Thank you.
