The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a non-profit organisation in India that operates a school lunch programme.[1] The organisation was established in 2000. It aims to counter classroom hunger[2] and aid in education of children. It feeds 1,800,907 children every day across India.[3

Great organization which is feeding mid-day meal to more than 1.7 million school children everyday. It is one of the largest NGO with world's largest kitchen (at Hyderabad). While it is a NGO, the functioning is modeled after a corporate company . There are departments and culture is quite professional at the HO. They have implemented ERP etc. TAPF is functioning in more than 12 states and has over 40 kitchens.. Individual states have separate structures.. Overall, it is an organization which is working to remove hunger from classroom. Providing breakfast can be the next step

This is one of the mega kitchens in india which is a non-profit organisationin India that runs school lunch programmed across India. This is helping in increasing student registration and thus literacy. This follows the mandate of mid day meals in schools that was once run by government of india. You can make donations and help the noble cause.

I loved my experience there. There's no better thing Than making sure children get the appropriate nutrition to help them grow into healthy and to achieve their dreams.
