Thavaru Mane Thindi - South Indian restaurant in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

This is good affordable South Indian hotel with limited breakfast menu options because last time when I visited at dinner time I packed Veg fried rice whose quantity was filling but didn't expect the quality to be so bad. Today after running 12 km I was very much exhausted so didn't prepare breakfast at home, reached Thavaru Mane Thindi which is 10 min away from my house. The outdoor seating is nice enjoying road side view but no place was empty, so I went inside the hotel, gave order then ate it. In today's breakfast there was Thatte Idli, Vada, Masala Dosa, Set Dosa, Puri, Rice bath, I had Thatte Idli with Vada which filled my tummy. Sambar was average, chutni- I took it twice, Vada was not fresh. Atlast I had Tea, which ended my session their. Ambience is good, but you get lot of noise to hear because it is right next to the main road.

Service is Good, Pure Veg And it's in ground floor Reasonable price, Easily noticeable from the Highway, towards Kanakapura it's in right side ample Parking available from r car and bike next to hotel Spent time with family for breakfast. Food is tasty, Hygiene in place

While returning from Shivasamudram to Bangalore we took a halt over here for refreshment. The Tea was decent, however we didn't tried anything looking at the cleanliness of this place which was very pathetic. There are juice and bhujia option also available on the same shop which can be tried if you wanted to try something else however I would emphasize on the cleanliness of the place which was missing right from the Bathroom to the sitting area.

Not a great choice! The place is very dirty and not hygienic... At one point in time idli used to be good... the restaurant has lost its charm and food tastes bad... Not recommended at all

Had Khali Dosa it's drenched in oil. Vada was quite good. Chefs are not experienced. Rate also quite high compared to what they offer and charge.

Light on the pocket and filling. For me personally, the sambhar was bland and coconut chutney was a bit watery and bland tasting as well. Masala Dosa was long and huge and filling. Idli and vada were good. Service was really really fast - we got our order in less than 5-6 mins flat. They should improve the sambhar and chutney taste. My only gripe. We also drank coffee outside - Rs 10. It was good.

Decent restaurant restaurant with tasty south indian food. Delicious meal with Poori/roti plus halwa costs only 70 bugs. Neat and clean. Service also nice

This is a snacks restaurant and right on the main road. No AC. Simple place to have some snacks and ciggratte or juice. Ample parking place. Open for long hours. AC Hall is septate. Enjoyed some time here.
