Worthy to visit. Govt is not at all maintaining well as it is a holiday spot. Needs more development as a site seeing place. At least private firms can undertake development. Nice place to spend for friends and besties.
You will get peace in the morning and evening with nature ...but avoid afternoon because it's very
It was very great experience to see the reservoir and it's gates... It was very wide and colourful. Very beautiful view too... You don't miss to visit it...
The scenery is awesome Best for photo shoots The view of mountains from reservoir is simply awesome
Located around 20 mins away from Vizag-Araku main road, this is actually the spot where you can visit the gates of the Thatipudi reservoir built on Gosthani river. This is a bridge built over the flow of the gated river. You may park your vehicle on the roadside and click some snaps. The view is not that spectacular. To get a better scenic beauty, it is advisable to drive further for 2-3 mins and take left towards the watch tower. Overall verdict- it's better to head for the watchtower directly instead of taking a halt at this location.
It's on the way to Jabalpur from Vyshakh, neat to Deomali. Not a frequent tourist place. It's silent place.
It's a dam located on "Gosthani River" which supplies water to Vizag City! When you travel to araku take a visit to this dam. The dam will be visible from the main road but, if you actually want the full view you need to go forward a bit and take left from there or you can actually ask the locals or visitors about the route from the bridge. And you need to go through the stairs and you can have the view! It's a pleasant view It's better to visit this place during rainy season and while dam gates are open.. You can visit this place with friends and family also. It's been a picnic spot also. No places around this where you can get food. So, you need to carry if you want to eat! Don't get into the water. Stay safe!
The construction dates back to 1962. The Reservoir is a major drinking water source to Visakhapatnam apart from other habitations and irrigation. Maintenance of the tank bund is not good and at some places the parpet wall is also tilted.
it's a great refreshment being there. but no vehicles allowed. and even gate closed for visitors. only need to jump through wall and need to visit. boat riding was non ops..
