Have visited here 3 times. Food is really good. You will get good non veg items there with river side view. Its kids friendly.

Got food poisoning after having lunch from Tharavadu Toddy Shop. Me and my friends had continuous and severe vomiting and we were rushed to the hospital around 3 am. We believe that the fish fry we ordered was the culprit here. The fish wasn't fresh and had a rotten taste to it. It was fried so badly and had a burnt flavour to it as well.

So pathetic The food was very bad and the service even worse. Went there after seeing google reviews but had a very bad experience. For example, we ordered a plate of cuppa(Tapioca) and the cuppa brought was very bad and when we questioned it, we were told it was fresh and it was also bad. They don't even care about the basic things. One more thing is that the location of this toddy shop is very beautiful, except that it is just a waste to go there.

The location is beautiful with ample parking, but the food is only average. The beef roast is sweetish and tastes like Chinese food, and the fish curry is really bad. It's also crowded with students who are smoking and making noise on the ground floor. Overall, I would not recommend going there for the food - it's more like a local toddy bar.

Lunch time is best. We visited late at night and almost all items were finished. There is a very narrow bridge to pass through, it makes congestion.

There is a one-way bridge leading to this place, watch out for the signal before crossing. Amazing food & toddy. Pork, beef & appam awesome. Cost effective! Outdoor & indoor seating. Ample parking.

Good food good tody but service little disappointed Maybe because of Sunday rush. Family friendly.

The place has pretty good view and ambience. There is a dedicated area for family. The food was nothing special, It was average except BDF which was great. Toddy wasn't good either. The staff and services are great. The food price is on the higher side. Except for the great view and ambience i wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for great shap food.
