Thappalu Resort and Food Court - Resort hotel in Kankapura - Ramanagara, India

Really lovely Resort, the serenity of the property is incredible. Very peaceful. Lovely pool and the food! Honestly, the food was pleasant surprise. It was quite delicious. Hugged a ton! Definitely a staycation, with your loved ones.

All the staff were very, very friendly...very helpful...very professional. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The food was totally awesome everywhere we ate. The waiters were exceptional...polite and attentive in every way. The entertainment was great every night. There are numerous activities if one wishes to indulge. There is complete tranquility if one wishes just to relax around the pool or on the beach. The landscaping is beautifully maintained as is the entire ecological area. Too long a list to describe all the pros. Take our word for it....you will not regret it. It was by far the best resort we have ever been to and would recommend it very highly.

We had a delightful experience at Excellent reception, friendly staff and managers. Lovely environment and wonderful food. We went on vacation and it was indeed an unforgettable stay.We all were delighted indeed. Personal attention to our needs at every level made us happy at every point of time.we will be back again hopefully...

While it has everything that you would expect from a good resort, there are a few shortcomings which if they take care would definitely beat it's competitors around We had taken their dormitory which has 20 beds. It was neat and very clean mattress with sheets for each bed. Although it was pretty humid the day we went and AC would have really been awesome. Now coming to the food, it was barely adequate and at par with the taste but the dining area is so far away from the dormitory. This was a very big deal for women and children especially while going and returning from dinner. They need to have lighting throughout the property. Also, maintenance of the rope activities and adding more games could have been worth the money.

Lots of variety in food. Different cuisines available. Breakfast is good and elaborate too. Helpful staff. I would recommend the resort to all for a visit with your friends or family. My overall stay was good and I would not have expected any better.

Good resort with affordable price and wonderful ambience. Good hospitality with yummy food served by caring staffs. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and rain dance along with the other activities. Had a great experience with family and friends. Overall a Day well spent

Food court: average food with moderate pricing. Not very crowded, it has a very nice view of the hill in the foreground. Less number of staff to attend people which creates delay in service. Billing people can try to be a little more polite with the customers.

We had been to food court here. Location was good and nice ambience. Food was good and service was pathetic. Sometimes they don't even care what we are saying. We had ordered extra boiled eggs (3 boiled eggs) for which they billed 80 Rs/-...!!! When questioned for the amount they didn't give proper answer at all. Just calculate how much each boiled egg cost..!! Never ever take boiled egg there. They don't even properly respond.
