One of the best 5 Star level property to stay at Kodaikanal. I travelled during Sep 30~Oct 2 with family of 2 children and it was an absolute pleasure of staying there, getting homely yet professional chef made food, fun activities for children. The owner madam lakshmi ji was very warm and took very good care of us. The resort is very beautiful and I would recommend stay for every family.
Located at the foothills of kodaikanal, The place offers a more relaxed weather, rooms are very beautifully designed and the staff are hospitable and welcoming and awesome food as well, overall had a great experience and positive vibes. Only improvements needed are the bedsheets in the room which we noticed had some small stains and also upon arrival and has low network in certain places and the receptionist was not at the desk and had to wait for a long time to get the room booked. So recommended to contact the property management and confirm the booking before arrival.
All good. Very remote. Calm. Nice ambience. Moderate temperature. Complimentary breakfast was good. Tea good. Dinner too costly. Lunch Rs190 per head. Lunch was very nice. But less varieties. Tasted good. Normal home food. 2 Rooms + 2 bath/toilet+1 kitchen. Chairs provided. 1 queen size bed, 1 king size bed. 1 bathroom partly open to sky shower(could experience a waterfalls effect). Other bathroom normal. Both have geyser. Kitchen with kettle. We can put tea/coffee. All sachets provided with mineral water. Ceiling fan provided. Inverter available.
One of the best places I've stayed... You can go there and let loose, disconnect from the internet (although they have wifi everywhere), and enjoy the calmness or try various activities such as cycling, board games, park for kids etc... There a lot more to say but i guess it's better if you experience it firsthand.
Fabulous get away for a nice undisturbed vacation. Rooms are well appointed with unique roof less bath and spacious personal sit out. Peacock waking us up in the morning. Very warm service homely food. Also a great chat with the owner a humble human being who is keen to ensure we are comfortable.

The maintenance of Villa is not really up to the mark. A few tiles in the bathroom are broken, there is an open to sky portion in the bathroom which attracts a lot of insects during night. Out of two bedrooms in the Villa one had white, clean and neat bedsheets and the other wasn't. The rooms were not spec clean. Lot of improvement needed. If maintained well, i am sure it can become a top class resort. Best of luck.
