I really wanted to appreciate Thankam hospital and crew!! My father was admitted because of road accident having his rib fractured for a 8-9 days and initially, 3 days in the ICU. 1. I Wanted to give 5 star to the hospital environment, cleanliness, parking. 2. They Understand that treatment is the foremost expectation and we are really satisfied with the it and utmost care taken by nurses and they were so pleasing and they treated very kind. Especially doctors and the PRO from the management helped us with insurance related assistance. Thanks Thangam for the great support and treatment. Now, my daddy is recovering

Recently the hospital expansion has made major OP to be located on top floor with tin roof and construction works going on around. This is where most oldies come. The neurology and oncology section. Too hot, damp, dusty More bedspace is more money, OPs can sweat out, who cares... People who come just because of habit better look for other options.

Thangam Hospital, situated in West Yakkara, remains a popular multispecialty hospital in Palakkad despite the recent controversies surrounding it. After visiting the hospital for a medical reason a couple of days ago, I was happy with the service provided there. The staff were prompt and courteous and the doctor we consulted was good. The only difficulty we faced was the long time it took for some lab results suggested by the doctor to reach us. But then it may be due to the time needed to analyse the lab results as they have to be accurate. They couldn't be rushed, of course. We reached the hospital around 10 in the morning and left only at 3 in the afternoon. The 300-bedded hospital is conveniently located.

Very good hospital in Palakkad. Best staff and they are very helpful. Doctors are very caring. My wife was admitted for delivery and the doctors and staff were with her through out the process until the baby was delivered. They made sure that a hindi speaking female nurse was present with the my wife during delivery. After the delivery the child was kept in NICU for observation and the service was really good. The child was accompanied by a nurse all the time. The doctor visited the child multiple times in one day. Overall I am really satisfied with the hospital care.
