Thaliyil Mahadeva Temple is Situated near Uppoottikavala at the Kottayam - Kumarakom route of Kerala. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, there is a fort surrounding the temple. The sub deities of this temple are Lord Ganesha, Lord Subramanya, Lord Sastha, Nagaraja and Rakshas. The 10 days annual festival of the temple is celebrated in the month of Medam, the Malayalam month.
