Thalanaar Waterfalls - Tourist attraction in Iyerpadi - Coimbatore, India

The best place with so much privacy. It's a very unfortunate situation for us not able to enjoy it here. We just enjoyed a deep forest drive. Please don't miss it. A must visit this place.

Beautiful medium height fall to relax ...(bathing not allowed) road for this spot is wild and narrow ...with Elephant crossing also dark misty zones so ppl who drive those roads please take care

Hidden gem! Folks visiting Valparai have the take the route to Thalanar to experience the natural beauty of the place. It is so much like Scotland . Clean road, great viewpoints and clean rivers.

We went there often... Each time in monsoon it will be wonderful memory and different visuals, birds, animals... Mainly misty cliffs, drizzling clouds....

Must Try route for everyone who visits Valparai. Its a driver who will enjoy the ride most... Twist and turns - forest road. Inexperienced drivers pl don't try. Steep road. Don't travel post 5pm / you ll encounter wild animal 100% post 5pm. Deep forest. But no water in falls (we went in mid summer time But woww experience!!

Its a small water fall in Thalanar road of Valparai. Its is not easily accessible by road, because there is a small checkpost in route to this waterfalls. Some resorts run by private estate is there and we need to show the proof of booking in those reorts to cross checkpost. Road condition is not good but can be used for travelling in low speed. Wild animals sight chance is more in this ares since traffic very very less and its surrounded by forest and coffee estates. One can go here by taking a 25KM drive from Valparai town towards Aliyar route. If you are coming from Aliyar you can go here without touching Valparai.
