It's towards Nature... You can feel Deep silent... I love the place... Everybody can visit at least once in a lifetime.
Had a trek to this place..it was awesome experience...it's around 2500 feet height and will take around 2 to 3 hours to reach the peak...the views from peak are awestruck,..seems the temple will be opened only on the Tamil month of purattasi.. But trekkers can go and visit this place any time...it's a easy level trek since the path way to the peak gradually increase...
I have been here 4 times and it was great experience. Its nice place for pilgrims as well as amateur trekkers since trekking distance and terrain is moderate. Its nice place all the way from starting of the trek upto the top of hill . There is one small water tank and temple before the main temple. The main temple is situated on the top of rock which is quite slender in shape. Some people go around the temple which is too much risky. There are no food or water available and hence better to take ourselves. Best time is to visit during and after rainy season. There are variety of birds and butterflies all the way. Its very difficult to climb if its too much sunshine. Atleast 2-3 ltrs of water per person is must. The need of guide is not must since route is quite simple. Reaching by own vehicle is the best way. It's quite difficult to get state transport buses especially on Sundays. Last time my friend and me went on Sunday and it was difficult to get any bus. We walked 8 km to Elurpatti to get the bus. There are two routes through which I climbed. People can choose anyone of it. Both are nice routes. Please like if the review was useful to you.
It's a wonderful place for movie shooting but no transport facilities. You have to walking around 15km then you will visit the Sri Perumal temple.
My family God om sri Sanjeevi nallendara perumal. every year third week of puratasi month my family all together visit to this temple.
Such a lovely place. If you're planning for a trekking, it's the perfect place. Approx 6.5 kms trek, could take upto 5 hours to complete up and down.
It is a awesome place. Beautiful nature view. It has multiple routes. Local people are extremely kind. I had wonderful memories here. Opened all days in puratasi and only on Saturdays in other months
