Thakur College of Science and Commerce is one of famous college in Mumbai. Thakur college provided many options of courses. College has best for Physical infrastructure and academic facilities.

Good infrastructure, but there are some issues with the animation department on the 4th floor the students don't get enough lectures as the teachers are called for meetings and other things. Even I have completed my course in this department .

My experience of visiting:Campus,Infra,interior everything was quite good.There should have been some arrangement for student's relative coming for entrace exams.

They ask for money for everything. Even if want to collect your report card they ask for money. Feels same as giving bribe for your own papers. Roads outside the college are even worse than 3rd class. You can't even walk on them properly. Even now villages have better road than this . I think that they want us to land on the top floor directly.

The campus is nice. There are lots of functions to participate in and many activities take place in the college. The big events of colleges are Tarangan and Trishna. Inter department function every month each department has their own activities to participate and organise.

One of the best education institutes in Mumbai. I spent my 5 years of education over here. The teacher, staff, students amenities everything is perfect the price you are paying for study over the other prestigious institutes in Mumbai. Plus the Thakur College is NAAC A+ autonomous so you get the chance of flying abroad easily. There are cons too. It's better to go towards that pain than tell you about it

Would be rated 0 star if possible So basically if you are joining this college for data science department I would recommend to you not to join the faculties are not at all interested in the teaching and the faculty are not at all having level of teaching. So i am not pointing to all teachers but there are some who were absent for whole semester and in the practicals all were just sitting. Earlier this college and technical department were having a greatest teachers of all time like ANAND UPADHYA, ABHISHEK SIR they don't teach now in this worst college. Basically this college will waste your 3 years in extra activities like freshers,tarrangan,farewell,NSS ,extra And not at all developed your technical skills i recommend you to don't join anything on the fame of " DATA SCIENCE " if your eligible for " COMPUTER SCIENCE " go for it or " IT" So wasting your 1.5 lakhs to this college hmmmmm I would recommend consider saraf college in malad my friend is at there
