One of the best non veg hotel in kanchi but only for take away. Congested place to dine. Sunday is horrible. Except biryani (good but not upto the standard) all items were ultimate

Food taste good but hotel atmosphere is not good at all. Nothing is cleaned. Small insects r flying all around table .it ll swim in ur food while you are eating. No body is listening though u complain.

A hidden gem in Kanchipuram . I must admit that the taste hasn't changed from the last 30 years since I have been visiting this place . Though I have to travel 300kms to dine in at this place , I must admit that I have never once been disappointed!! The food is beautiful, well balanced , homely and really flavourful!! The biriyani rice here is so aromatic and yummy . Their chicken fry is amazing too !! The masala and spices they use are super tasty , light and really good !! Their egg fry is also amazing !! Chicken 65 was also really tasty here !! They don't overpower their spices , but still their food is really tasty , yummy and delicious!! Food is beautifully balanced and the staff are really kind too!! The place is super crowded during almost the whole year . Reaching there at around 12pm - 1pm would be the best pick , as there wouldn't be much of a rush during that time . The hotel isn't really big and consists of ground floor and first floor with dining options at both the floors . The owner is also really well spoken and kind . This hotel represents simplicity at its best . The food here is super light , delicious and jam packed with flavour!! One of the best hotels I have ever visited !!

Wow biriyani shop.... they have a unique chicken biriyani with many varieties of chicken, mutton, kaadai, fish and prawns. Shop is always crowded and its really a worth to wait and taste the food. Speciality of parcel is biriyani comes with old type of round leafs (not banana one). Taste wise its really amazing and strongly recommend for the biriyani lovers. A small cons- Always go by walk because the area is always rush and you will not get parking nearby.

Recently visited Thahira Hotel for Lunch .Ordered mutton biryani . The food was amazing. The rice was so fragrant and the mutton was tender an tasty. You should definitely try this .one of the best biriyani's in kanchipuram. But for mutton biriyani you should visit b/w 11.30am-12.15 pm.or else you'll not get a mutton biriyani .Their Kadai fry one of best side dish.

I started early in the morning from Chennai to have my breakfast at Ocheri Biryani Hotel but reached there late so couldn't have our food there, did some quick call to one of our local guy and he suggested Thathira Hotel.Highly disappointed by the food and worst is the customer service.To get the food to your table will take a lifetime.The wait staff need more training in hospitality and the place needs lot of cleaning the term hygiene can't be used in this restaurant!!!
