Thaggu Ke Laddu still remains to be one d the most ranted about places. It was 24 years back I had been to this place and now again in 2023. Not much seems to have happened with the shop but the taste of the laddoos still remain fabulous. Badnaam kulfi still seems to have retained its age old methods of preparation and still bang in taste. Overall the place still lives up to its reputation with the famous tag line . "AISA KOI SAGA NAHI, JISKO HAMNAE THAGA NAHI" Cheers !!!!!
Thagu ke Laddu Jaisa Nam waisa Kam, He is really cheating honestly. Because he is honestly saying "Aisa koi Saga nahi Jisko hamne thaga nahi" Two rates of Laddus are available here but honestly saying none of them are satisfactory in taste. But as we name fame Name can sell anything. But Badnam kulfi is good and tasty I really appreciate the quality and the taste.

Just a hype, their is no uniqueness in the ladoos. Its ok for one time, there are many other sweets option in Kanpur which is much better and priced for Value. 7 pcs of laddu in 250 gram box. Rs. 780 per Kg
Laddoos were good and somewhat different from the usual gond laddoos available elsewhere. You can choose from two varieties of laddoos here. The Pista Almond variety has a rich cardamom flavour, which is way less prevalent in the Cashew laddoos. Pedas were amazing. Easily my favourite item from the shop. Highly recommended. Kulfi was okay. Good experience overall. The shopkeeper uncle ji was polite and responded well to my queries. The price of the items were as follows when i visited the place (Nov 2023). Pista almond laddoos - 840/kg Cashew laddoos - 570/kg Peda - 570/kg Kulfi - 60/plate
So this place serves amazing sweets (laddu) and badnaam kulfi. The kulfi might be a little expensive but it is worth it. You will not find kulfi all the time here, they usually end up pretty soon since people love it soo much. You might have to wait a few minutes to get your hands on the kulfi. They have 2 types of laddu also available and they are also great. One star less since the place was little dirty and they don't have sitting space.
