It was a very good experience. The staff is very cooperative and humble. Taste is also very good. It's a treat for pure vegetarians. Thackers is known for its veg thali which comes for Rs. 700/-, is not bad at all. However, it is not outstanding but if you are visiting this restaurant, then do try thali. The thali loosely comprises of Roti, chapati and puri with ghee on it, three veggies, dal and dahi curry, shrikhand, and buttermilk. Along with it, is cutlet, undhiyo and tasty dahi wada. And all this is unlimited. Important note- One cannot share their thali. So think twice before ordering.

Denied washroom entry for no reason at all, extremely uncalled for rude behaviour by staff.
Quality is decent, options are plenty. Thali is the usual dish ordered here but it's not value for money.
I have given one star less as I feel managers need to be more courteous (they are too full of themselves with attitude suitable for the kings)
Tip: if you're with family, go for ala carte menu rather than whole thali: economical and better choice
Note: the place is at Girgaum Chowpatty and not opposite Sydhnem college as placed on the map
