TGI AMEYA GRAND - Hotel in Panaji - North Goa, India

Rating 2/5. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Goa. Beds are pathetic. Quality of bed is worse. Keeps on moving away from the cot once we sleep. We had to place them on the floor and sleep. Even then it was bad. One expects good nights sleep but that was not there. Noises from other rooms were being heard. Bad acoustics

The hotel is located in a very clam neighborhood. Room size is good according to the Price. Staff is very well behaved and quality of service is quite good. Breakfast is available at the ground floor restaurant. Staying for 6nights and it is a pleasent experience.

Wonderful stay at Tgi Ameya Grand!! rooms are spacious and comfortable check in was super smooth staffs are very polite and helpful we had breakfast included in our package it's was delicious and had many options to go for it!! Will never miss out on TGI AMEYA GRAND whenever we are in Goa

Perfect hotel for a family .they allowed us to check in early at like 10:00AM.We got to hotel super early and I didn't wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Would definitly suggest for a perfect stay at panjim

Well cleaned maintained rooms walkable distance to nearby panjim market and casinos ambience is good housekeeping was very good at cleaning the rooms buffet breakfast had lot of options had a lively stay at Tgi Ameya Grand

Edit: 28/06/2023 While I appreciate that the hotel has taken the time to reply and offered to look at the issue for the future, I am also aware that this would not be without the knowledge of the Operations Manager that the decision on items such as Internet bandwidth, kind of options provided are taken. I can be angry at the staff, especially at the time of frustration - they may not be to blame for this and their reaction may be because they are helpless themselves. I would hope they correct these but only time and experience will tell. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Reviewed: 28/06/2023 What I hoped to be 5 nights of comfortable stay turned out to be an unwanted discomfort. Since I work remote and internet is a primary concern to me, I had verified before booking with regards to the speed. I was assured that they had really fast internet. Once checked in I was getting 1 Mbps speeds. There are always occasional issues so I asked them to check and sort it out. I learnt to my dismay that there best speed is only ever 5 mbps. This would not work for even basic voice calls. So anyone hoping to work from here please be warned. My main gripe is not with the room but the misrepresentation based on which I made my plans. It was luckily that I connected using their network on a Sunday. If I had done the same on a working day I would have really be in a fix and my work would have been affected badly. I had to hurriedly check out and look for another option. The staff seemed lost and then turned defensive which is what irked me. Even to then saying this is very good speed and the best. I relied and confirmed by calling again if they have food internet and they assured me it is. Anyone with any decent data pack would know that their pack gives them nearly 20-30 mbps. How does 1 Mbps every quality as good speed unless not in 2000? With all close by hotels full, I had to take a room at a much higher price. I market 4 properties in Uttarakhand and even in the remote mountains we give 209 mbps fiber internet. This is center Panjim. Shameful tactics.

Location in the city. Neat and clean rooms and bathroom. Clean lenins were provided. The staff was polite and courteous
