As for Bengali food, the price is not quite high it's on the okay side. But the food is not quite good. I loved their Dal and the gravy of the mutton was delicious. Also the Pulao was quite good. But the fish items were not quite good. You can visit this outlet with friend's or family. But I personally didn't quite have a swoon worthy appetite.
A nice place for family lunch and dinner. But food prices are a bit high. However, the food and service quality made the dining time much better.
Nothing beats delicious Bengali food, especially on a rainy evening. My friends are regulars and knew exactly what to order. Hot luchis (puris) with chholar (chana) dal and begun bhaja (fried brinjal) to start. Another round of luchi with kosha mangsho (mutton curry) and jhinge aloo posto to continue, and dreamy malpoa with rabri to close. Served with class and totally satisfying.
Very disappointed. This place is highly overpriced. The quantity of the food is very less according to the price. The quality of the food is also not good. The pulao is too sweet, the lanka bhapa chicken is too oily. The chicken is 450rs and the pieces are too small.
Loved the ambience. Staffs are courteous here and food is ok. I really loved their posto bora.
I love the Bengali dishes here. And the best dish is probably that "nolengurer ice cream ". It is so tasty.
A bit over rated, being in Kolkata when I compare the price point vis a vis other metro cities this restaurant is pricey with reference to the quality and quantity. I was expecting a decent size of Iilish (Hilsa) or Rui.. We get a bigger size of Fish Fry at a prominent eat out from Kolkata in Delhi or Bangalore and at a lesser price. Probably the cost is because of the brand value, which I am not sure if it has any because I have not seen any standout features. Of the 3 key parameters Taste of food : 3/5 Staff Courtesy : 4.5/5 Ambience / decor : 3/5 Honestly I am a bit disappointed, 13 Parbon will not be my 1st choice in the city of joy
Food was just about ok. Ordered Ilish Bhapa and Kosha Mangsho with rice. The fish was fresh but the curry was odd. Mutton was again nothing but tasting bland oil. Not recommended for people interested in quality Bengali cuisine.
