The museum is very well arranged, with a series of displays showing how mountaineering equipment has changed since the days of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. It really is amazing to think that Everest was conquered using such basic equipment.

It's a very nice place but very crowded and there are some dirty places, hotels are costly

It was built to give tribute to the man who made India proud, the first man to summit Mt. Everest the highest mountain in the world which is situated in Nepal, the government has built a beautiful statue of Mr Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, but it's in a sorry state , no flowers , the place looks deserted
