Super view from the top of the hill. We can see the whole temple from this spot . Beautiful scenery and the best place to be visited by each and everyone. Very powerful god each and every one should be visiting this place once atleast. Very good maintenance is observed in the surroundings.
A very good route to walk and reach temple. One straight road from Karthikeyan Illam. You can take a vehicle too. There's parking space at the end. There's adequate lighting to drive/walk back if it gets too late in the temple. But beware of monkeys.. there are a lot of them... They are harmless but just in case...

The temple is open throughout the day from 5.45AM to 8.45PM. Afternoon from 12PM to 1PM, entry to the temple is restricted owing to Uchi Kaala Pooja. You can either take the steps or drive uphill by car or any other vehicle to reach the temple. Thiruthani is generally extremely hot, so plan your trip accordingly. From Chennai Central, suburban trains are frequently available to this town which is quite convenient and quicker too.
Temple was good, but the out maintenance was not good

Thirutani was one of the arupadai veedu of lord Murugan. The last visit to the temple was way back in the early 90's almost 25 years ago. So it was in our list of travel destination. Its located on a slight hill top. The parking charges are around 50
