Temi House - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

We stayed in Temi House during first week of October 2022. It was wonderful experience to stay there. The view from their balcony is beautiful. They are more on expensive side as compared to other options, but they provide good service. The room we chose was very nice. Food at the Temi house is also nice. Overall, we had a good family vacation. The travel itinerary we previously decided had to be changed at the last minute, but they adjusted it.

My thanks and gratitude to Mr. Biswa Gurung our trip manager and the hotel manager for alloting the more than perfect rooms. My special thanks to the Chef Mr. Mani Sharma who cooked homely food for my diverse group aging from 8 year boy to 73 year adult...half of them almost retirees. The most excellent surprise is having Idli sambar for breakfast that too in Sikkim and loving it as well Hotel is a little far from the centre and due to some road construction in between there was a diversion through a not so good route. Hopefully the road should be ready my end of May 2023.

Rooms are spacious. Property located about a km from the main market. Service was excellent. Staff was very polite and cooperative.

We were lucky to get rooms facing the valley. The place is away from hustle bustle of the town. The rooms are spacious with a balcony view ideal for morning relaxation. It has a nice Terrace Garden too. The staff are very friendly & supportive for all our needs. Priyanka needs a special mention here. Coming to the food, Mani & his team provides the best food which meets our tastes.

The hotel is well maintained and has big spacious rooms. Lot of common seating areas too which are great for groups. The property has a lift to some floors. The hotel and kitchen staff is courteous and helpful. Food was good and since we had a big group they even accommodated 1-2 special requests from us. Not at walking distance from MG Road especially for outsiders due to the hilly terrain, better to take taxis. We paid 200/250 per ride.

We stayed in Temi house for 3 days and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were courteous and warm and helped us plan our itinerary. They also shared insights about culture and history of Sikkim. The food was very tasty and felt homely. Great people, Great hospitality!

This is one of the perfect places to stay in Gangtok with the perfect hosts!! We were lucky to find it available & the first impression was amazing. The rooms are spacious & offer a good view. The property is spread out to multiple floors and they provide delicious food cooked with local flavours. Also the host/manager - Ritez is a guy you should interact to get the best recommendations in Sikkim. Also they run a tour & travel company - Footprints travel which are considered one of the best in Sikkim so you get added advantage!!

I stayed in Temi House with my family, during our Sikkim tour. The environment here is very cozy, serene, and welcoming. Priyanka and Prjakta greeted us with excellent hospitality and courtesy. They made sure our stay was comfortable and delightful. They not only helped us with all our needs during our stay in the hotel but also guided us to the local way-outs and eateries. They were very caring and friendly. Once we went out for a walk and dinner in Gantatok and were getting a bit late for returning. Priyanka called us to check if we are all ok and needed any help to come back to the hotel. This was an amicable and friendly gesture. I highly recommend Temi House for a great stay whenever you happen to visit Sikkim.
