Visited Tehri lake in June. Lake is really huge. There were no. of water rides like speed boat, jet ski, para sailing. Overall it was fun place for a day outin. But the weather was hot. Safety measures were taken during rides

We visited Tehri Lake Water Sports on 9th June 2023 and had a mixed experience. The water level in the reservoir was quite low, which made us a bit anxious during the boat ride. Additionally, the main area for sports activities was relocated 1.5 km away from the usual spot during the summer season. This made it inconvenient for us to access the activities. One downside was the condition of the roads within the Tehri Water Sports area. They were filled with potholes, posing a risk for vehicles with low ground clearance. It's important to be cautious to avoid any damage to your vehicle. The high humidity in the summer was also a challenge. Even in the morning, the humidity levels were uncomfortable. We opted for a 30-minute boat ride, which was enjoyable but could have been more pleasant with better weather conditions. There were various sports activities available, including speed boat rides, parasailing, and jet skiing. However, we found the prices to be quite steep. If you plan to try multiple activities with your family, be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. In addition to the popular water sports, they also offer activities like paramotoring. However, we did not get a chance to experience those. One disappointing aspect was the car parking facility, which came with a fee of around 50 rupees. Unfortunately, the parking area was not well-maintained and didn't provide a good value for the money charged. Overall, Tehri Lake Water Sports offers a range of exciting activities, but the experience can be affected by factors like water level, road conditions, and high prices. It's worth considering these factors before planning a visit.

Lake is very very huge. When you go near it you will see waves coming out of it just like it happens in ocean. It is said the depth of the lake is 1km deep. The place is very hot and doesnt have any trees nearby....you will find a restaurant there though. You can do boating, house boating, jet ski, atv ride, kitesurfing....When u visit tehri lake and you are coming from rishikesh then dont forget to visit bemunda forest and waterfall. Very nice place to visit. It has all the sports activities. Speed boating...para sailing...ATV......para gliding......banana boat and so many other activities....the view of this place with this huge TIHRI DAM is breath taking. Here you even get a SHIKARA BOAT Same like dal lake. Tihri dam is the tallest dam in india and its the 12th tallest dam in world. Its a must place to visit when in Uttarakhand. The turquoise green colour of the lake is so beautiful.

Lovely place! Amazing scenes! Overpriced adventure sports with meagre facilities but worth it!

I absolutely loved the vibes of this place !! I visited with my family. Must carry goggles because it is very dusty area.. it will hurt your eyes. I tried speed boat 600/- per head for 15 mins And parasailing 2500/- for 2 mins. Great place to do water activities and have some good experience.

Tehri Lake famous for water and other sports, viz boating, paragliding etc. Can enjoy the weekend with the family . Road is very good from Rishikesh.
