It really provides homely atmosphere, comforts and care to the dwellers. Soft, polite and cordial behavior of the owner and all the team members is really heart winning and praiseworthy. The rooms and the wash-rooms are cosy, neat n clean. The scenic beauty of the hills and mountains as seen from the balcony is really awesome. The home made, non-spicy simple food is another point of appreciation. Although the approach road is little narrow and off the main road, but the other positive aspects evens out all these odds.
The best homestay in Darjeeling! I would highly recommend it. It's well-located, and has a beautiful view. But the most important thing is that Subhash Uncle was the warmest and nicest host I have ever met. He treated us like family and fed us the tastiest meals. I will definitely come back here whenever I am in Darjeeling again.

The property is Fairly placed at the footsteps of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Pros: Subhash uncle's warm behaviour, the well behavior of all the family members and staff. Good food and a nice view from the top of the balcony. Cons: Couldn't find any. Overall nice place to stay.
We stayed in their new homestay for 3 nights, which is adjacent to the old one. First thing is the behaviour of the owner, very helpfull, polite. Rooms are great, have balcony, had a dining place also. Room 1 and Room 2 are the best among all the 4 rooms. Foods are also very testy, but I feel bit high price.
Atlreast this homestay does not have attached washroom also in their guest rooms but still the homestay charges more money
First thing it is far from main Darjeeling mall .reserve taxi will take 300 for this distance. Second.rooms on first floor (adjacent to fire place) are small ,I personally felt suffocating and most important that doesn't have attached bathroom. Good things is behaviour is fine and bathroom is clean. But room carpets are dusty.
