This market is situated in the great campus of magnificent IIT Kharagpur. One can get any thing use in daily life from medicine to sefty pin. You can have sweet shop in it along with restaurants too. There are more than one good restaurants too.

Cleanliness should be maintained strictly. Single use plastic covers should be avoided. Paper straws, betel leaf plates, glass or mud cups should be used. Water kept for drinking should be purified water instead of tap water.

In one word this market is a one-stop solution for all your needs. Many kgpians says that they couldn't get Tech-M out of their heart and still prefers it for their necessities. One drawback is that since its inside the campus and are offering you with all the needed things in one place, some of the sellers sells their goods at a higher price that its original price. If you would want to explore other markets nearby, then you can visit Talbagicha market or DVC market. These markets are only 2 to 4 km from iit kgp campus.
