Teama - Family restaurant in Candolim - North Goa, India

I'll start with the service, we sat upstairs with my family. The waiter service is a bit off, I don't know if they are confused or if they are not trained. When we call them for something they seem a bit off as if they are telling each other you go I go in their own way. I was really not getting it. The food is good with the beach view, evenings they have nice live singing so that adds up to your mood . When we did Google pay also they could not confirm for a few minutes. Overall good but not great. Their dish fingers are nice and the carbonara was lovely.

Sizzler's was very disappointing. Service and ambience is good. Too much cost for below average food . Aloo jeera cost rs 250. pasta rs 400 but no taste.

Food takes forever to arrive, i can understand food preparation takes time but this place tests your patience. Onion rings took 10 mins to arrive. Fish and chips was good in taste but fish is too soft to eat can do better. Pork sausage chilly, there is everything but not sausages. And the prices doesn't justify the food.... The taste is good. Live music is add on but won't recommend this place.

Been here recently. The food here is above average. The mixed seafood soup arrived hot. The goan beef roast and cheese balls were yummy. Beef was a bit under-cooked. The fresh lime soda was very well made and the price was apt too. Main course called for mixed meat fried rice (a bit dry and hardly any meat). The sausage chilly fry was yum. Good quality pork sausages used. Dessert was a disappointment, to say the least. One asked for coconut pancakes, but what we got was just 3 thin, mini pancakes with some grated coconut thrown in and a blob of ice cream dumped over it. I mean, common Management. We come here for a gastronomic experience. When what we get is far from what is expected, it makes us want to think twice about returning. And the price, Rs. 300/-. So NOT worth it. Ordering pancakes not recommended. On an earlier experience 3-4 years ago, one had the authentic Alle-belle. But this time, it was a disaster. One more thing, is it polite for the servers to ask patrons for a tip to be added? I mean, isn't it out of choice? This has been happening since last year. The last time, we were literally escorted from the top floor to the ground floor and were blatantly asked to leave a tip. Not done. Teama needs to up their customer service skills. After renovation, the changes don't seem any better. There is scope for improvement. Definitely!!!

We went there for breakfast. It took almost 30min for them to provide cold coffee and orange juice and 45min to provide the breakfast dish. Food is normal. Puri was not good and very crisp hard. Which is very disappointing. Else the location and ambience is good.

Great Goan food and entertainment. Cannot get any better. I have been coming down to Goa for over the last 25 years and always visit Teama. Don't go by other reviews. You come down to Goa to chill and to escape the busy life of the city. If you want your food quickly, then go to a fast food restaurant. Thanks Teama and team

They lack basic ethics. I went there to use restroom as i could not find any nearby and as per law you can use restroom of any restaurant and hotel free of cost but the Waiter there said you can go to other restaurants. I want to say to owner go get some life man!!

Superb and delicious recipies served at here. Hotel owner Mario is very kind and supportive. They also provide accommodation in budget friendly package and gives you arround 10% discount on dinner and lunch if you stay in their accommodation. They will charge around 1-3k for accommodation. In lunch and dinner you will get number of variety in veg and non-veg manus. You must try vegetarian dishes at here those are very tasty. Must visit with family. Special discount for couples are available.
