Visited tea factory at suryanelli ..entry ticket 250. Bought tea bags to home.. categorized based on quality. Taste the tea there .. chocolate available

The roads were bumpy, adventurous Jeep ride we had. Preferable to go either at sunrise or sunset to enjoy more scenetic views.

Visited the Tea Factory which is situated near Tentgram Hostel. The tea didnt even needed sugar to taste really good. Tea from the Tea town.

Very much overrated hill station, dirty, commercialized, only tea gardens all around, dry waterfalls, most of the high peaks have no railings or barricades, very unsafe.

The small village and such a calm place and the weather is nice

This is on the way to the kolukkumalai sunrise view point, the Kolukkumalai Tea Estate is built high atop the ridge that rises above the plains of Tamilnadu. At about 8,000 feet above sea level, this is the highest tea estate in the world owned by HML group. You can hire a jeep for 2500 which takes you to the top where you can see one of most beautiful sunrise.
