We were initially nervous while checking in since it is a bit interior but after glancing around the view of forest around we were completely mesmerized. We were not expecting much of facilities but to our surprise the room service staff guys (only 2 for complete resort) took excellent care of us. They were cooking food and housekeeping and everything. The food quality was also good. They would ask us for morning breakfast choice the night before. All three days they served us different varieties - appan, pottu chana and idly sambar. Although our room was a little away from their reach but still on one call they would come immediately. The place for dining is also situated outdoors so you can enjoy the morning view while doing breakfast. If you are staying here then no need to go separately for visiting any tea plantation. It has got a tea plantation of its own as the name suggests. A garden with swings. It was the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in supplement by a great service staff.

Recently we have stayed in this hotel.. This is situated on the top of the hill. Even though the environment is good. But inside, the rooms are worst. I would suggest not to go with a couple. Reaching to the hotel is adventurous. By the time when we reached to the hotel it was around 7 o' clock in the evening and no hot water at that time. Only in the early morning they switch on for 1 hour. Food is average. You may find some insects inside the rooms.

Hospitality- 4.5/5 Food-4/5 Scenic views- 4/5 Rooms-3/5 This place is kind of interior from the main road. Road to this place is very narrow and steep, you could get your hatchback up. Would be definitely difficult for sedans and bigger cars, and ofcourse not wide enough for 2 cars to pass. Good hospitality and people are very cooperative and friendly. Very affordable room tariffs and reasonable food rates. Few rooms are fine with decent interiors, but others have a dull old room interior finish which reminds you of a local lodge in your city. Good scenic view of the tea estate. I see new over being built with lake facing.

The Tea Garden Holiday Home is not value for money staying instead you can book in Oyo rooms or some other trusted hotel. This is private tea garden hotel located in the top of the hill and it's the worst one I have seen ever....Staff are terrible....there is no proper protocol for allotting the rooms. The route for reaching hotel is terrible if you are coming in car better get ready with new spare of tyres......staff were worst and indifferent..I went with friends and they have no consideration...rooms are worst quality...AC is non working and beds have bugs in it and you can find different insects, mosquitos, etc.. no proper cleaning.....guys I don't suggest to book anyone this hotel at all...even the TV is worst and there is no wifi. Hot water is only available in the early morning hours i.e. 5-6 am.

Loved the overall experince. This ia a set of building within a tea estate. The climate was very pleasing. There is a really good valley which is just 5 to 10 min walk. Kind of a provate area. U can hqve a dip in the valley as well. And there are leaches. Climate was pretty good. The rooms over here are close to each other so , privacy is a concern, n the walls are thin. The price was a little on the higher side , may be due to covid( close to 2.5k for one night) The breakfast offered was just average

Location And stay were superb. Thanks to sibhi taking good care of us. Very peaceful place to live away from city life. Only problem is the road which leads to resort needs a lot of improvement and there were no lights on either side of the road. Hence complete dark after 5.30 pm. Enjoy the sunset from the balcony, it is pure bliss moment with a cup of tea in your hand. There are no nearby shops available. The nearest ATM is 5Km from the location. Early morning hours beware of monkeys, the are friendly though do not trouble or feed them. The tea garden is superb, tea pluckers visit the site only in the morning that is fro 6 an onwards.

Great location to be murdered and raped. Its not a resort. The website pictures are doctored pictures. The place is basically 3 dark rooms with an attached balcony. The place is not accessible and you need a small off road vehicle. Food was not great even if were to consider that i was really hungry. Stay away.

"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" Having read mixed reviews about this resort, we were not excepting a comfortable stay. But surprisingly every thing is so good. Beautiful and attractive place to stay among tea plantations. Attractive staff. A GOOD CHOICE AT VYTHIRI.
