Tea Bungalow Munnar - Hotel in Munnar, Suryanelli - Idukki, India

Great place and awesome experience. This is unique experience where you stay close to nature and away from crowd. This property is located uphill and surrounded by lust green tea garden. Good staff and awesome food was served. Good to go along with bigger group and family. Suitable for kids too.

I stayed with my Family members in this resort between 26th and 28th January 2018 and it was awesome. The place is amidst the Tea Gardens and we could really unleash ourselves and had great fun. More importantly the care taker Antony was very courteous and took care of us very well. I recommend this place for a peaceful stay and decent food.

Good place to be in as it is in Suryanelli 35 KM away from Munnar City in the middle of Harrison Malayalam Tea Estate. Its more of a home style stay than a typical resort. Best view in the morning and sight of Kunukku Mala Sun Rise from the balcony of french bungalow. Service needs to improve a bit as there is a delay in service and maintenance need to be looked upon and the ground floor bathroom was smelling. Also need to work on hot water provision in ground floor and first floor also provision for tea and coffee in each room

We stayed here during August 2017. It was really a memorable stay. The location is in the midst of Tea garden away from busy Munnar..The staff is well behaved and courteous. From was delicious and as per our choice/ request...Veg/Nonveg preparations were awesome...worth for budget money and hospitality...recommend...

The Tea Bungalow at Suryanelli is a very scenic British Bungalow which will blow your mind at first sight. The rates are not very expensive. The staff (muthu) was very friendly and at our service for 24 hours. On request they will arrange for a early morning jeep ride to the sunrise view point. This view is a must see as this is one of the biggest highlights at Suryanelli. We are taken through a beautiful tea estate to the tip of a hill. The view of sunrise from above the clouds is breathtaking.

Loved this place.This place is in small town surynelli near munnar. It's like village. Our guide Mr.muttu took us for trekking and to visit tea estate extremely beautiful view we had during sunrise. Never had such a beautiful experience. Food was homely as per our request being prepared. Quality of rooms was good,felt like at home. Worth to visit once.

Its a best place to be stayed to watch the sun rise, Just 9 KM from kolukkumalai. Luxurious suits with affordable rates and the views from the resort made me to award them 5*****.

i had the worst experiece with agoda and munnar tea bunglow. i traveled to munnar recently and the day i was suppose to arrive and stay there was heavy rain and landslides and the place had red alert due to which i had to travel back as i was accompanies by 2 children and my wife. once i reach back home safely i called up agoda asking for a refund. they said if the manager of tea bunglow approves they will be ready to refund me. and they called up the manager but shockingly he said there was no danger to reach there that day even though the news said there is red alert and the locals and police ther asked us to go back due to safety concern. so in the end i paid for a one night stay there without staying there. sad to know the manager at munnar tea bunglow doest care about peoples safety or they value of money!
