The Banyan tree is really beautiful and huge. Amazing place. The only problem was that there were shards of broken glass around the tree and some women were praying there bare feet it could be hazardous. I thinkin more cleanliness is required here

I am seeing this from the time when I was born , it has become more rushy now, however there is no differnce for the tree it is growing sweet and sound forever, however we used to play on the tree back then but not now , there are place to sit now, and it is the offficial thavarekere bus stand.
Though the Tree is quiet huge an very old but the traffic sucks here. Thanks to narrow roads. But if you are coming from Jayadeva side area and want to go to Koramangala, shantinagar or nearby place. You can take his route. You will end up skipping at least 2 hugely crowded signals
