There are 2 roads to reach this point on top of the hill. One road is a very scenic view of the tea plantation and the other is exactly opposite to it where you can't find any tea Plantation until you reach the top. We went by the other route wherein we couldn't find any sort of tea plantation till we reach the top,but believe me the travelling is worth it. We went through a very forestry and local village road where we couldn't believe that we could find any tea garden here. But as we reached the top, it was so mesmerizing to see the view and feel the breeze there. As we travelled early morning, it was foggy there, so plan your visit after 11-12 am. You can also find small waterfalls on the way to the tea gardens. Overall,it's a must visit tea garden in Munnar.
ATTENTION There are 2 different routes google map shows you for this place, one starts from crossing the bridge on dam which is correct one and other is via highway, now don't get confused with that route of highway, it's very dangerous and beginner driver or less powered car can get easily failed or meet with accident on this route, the inclinations of ghats is way too much that you would never again come to this city of Munnar again, and local people will misinform you that the other route is closed which starts from crossing the bridge on dam, in fact the route is totally safe and you can go from there, it's a working route. My god you take the route from Highway and you will be in big trouble, the inclinations are literally 70-80 degrees on turns and you might met up with accident. And finally let me tell you there is nothing to see in that garden, garden is different and factory is different, look for factory not garden. Local people are there just to loot you, no one will help you, they will misguide you on every point so never ask any local in that city about anything, you ll be in trouble.

Beautifully planted and maintained. It's best to book a Jeep tour with a guide. They will take you to a couple of places... Zip-line, Waterfalls, suspension bridge and a stop at a Tea Garden. Must see!

A must visit when in Munnar. Fascinated to see the process of tea making..
This breath-taking viewpoint is located just about four kilometres from the Headworks Dam. You get wonderful views of tea plantations and the hills afar. There are spaces at the turnings of the road where you can stop and enjoy the view or take some beautiful photographs!
Beautiful tea garden which is owned and managed by TATA TEA.
