Playground in IITKGP. Football and cricket tournaments are organised here. People jog here in the morning and in the evening. It is just beside tikka.

Love this ground...nice atmosphere....airy...perfect place for exercise,running and walking...

One of the hubs of sports in the IIT Kgp campus. The complex is huge, with two full sized football grounds and two cricket grounds, one of which is pretty worthy of competative and friendly matches. The Complex is well lit by several Floodlights (which usually light up by the evening, but are kept off now, due to scarcity of students due to the pandemic). There are practise nets for Cricket. Concrete and normal pitches, both are available. A set of total 4 practise nets are available now. The pavellion has proper seating facilities for the viewers, there are toilet and sanitation facilities for players and officials. Drinking water is available as well. Proper drainage facilities are there as well, there is not much waterlogging even after a heavy shower. This serves as the venue for football and cricket matches during inter IIT sports events. Right now it is a place where children staying inside the campus as well as few from the outside gather around in evenings and play. Adjacent to the boundary wall is a road for the Walking and Running enthusiasts. Few students who have come back to the campus already, come and play on weekdays and weekends. Some kind of renovation work is always going on. Parts of the ground are severely uneven and may hurt those who are unaware about the same. Wrapping up, this place is really refreshing for an evening's walk or run as well as for those who love sports. You can also enjoy the cool breeze sitting while talking with friends or family. Lastly, the place has poor network connection, probably perfect for a place that intends to keep people outdoor and fit.

Had Played football here in the 54th Inter IIT Sports meet, 2019. The ground is not so good. But obviously missed it, we won a Bronze Medal here.

Excellent ground for jogging and recreation!

It is the largest sports complex in IIT Kharagpur. It features two football grounds and a cricket pitch as well. It is very breezy in the morning and evening. The ground is used by everyone in the campus ranging from students to non-teaching staff for various activities.

We were here for a national Aeromodeling competition but I can say that it's the biggest open ground i have seen till my visit at IIT Kharagpur it has 4 full sizes ground (2 football ,2 cricket )
