ACTREC is the branch of pioneer of Cancer treatment in India TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. ACTREC is basically Advanced Research For Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer which is research centre. It is great for Research in Cancer.

Both the doctors and proffessors are useless dumb here. I don't even see any crowd, no patients go there. So, i went for interview here and realised that they will always prefer their own candidate first. Means, someone who was already studying or working here previously. There were 3 male professor who actually were very unprofessional throughout their interview session. Firstly, you are eating and drinking snacks infront of me and laughing and making fun and irritating me. No decency. Stupid and irrelevant questions. They focus more on bookish knowledge rather than technical expertise. Even after giving the correct answer they mocked my efforts and said that you are just trying to answer. Off course dude! I am trying and not just keeping quiet. They didn't ask anything from my past work done , nothing from the papers I've published, nothing from my expertise and amazing cases I've worked on. Stupid people. All they asked was 12th class definitions. Come on!! You guys already selected your own internal candidates and keep interview just for paper work, everyone knows . It's time waste to try here. I didn't like the labs and infrastructure too. Such a negative vibe. We are humans and it happens that we don't recall suddenly certain bookish definitions but that doesn't mean that you will laugh and giggle infront of the candidate. I'm not an idiot and without studying I didn't gain 10 years experience in Genetics. If I was that weak in studies, how did I clear my GATE and JRF? How did I clear 3 round of interview at CCMB and published papers? These people just focus on bookish knowledge and not on your technical expertise. I found them very unprofessional and funny and I'm glad that I didn't get the job. This was a stupid interview session and they looked like laughing penguins to me. Today I'm earning double of what they are earning and I'm in a good position at a big biotech company. Flexible timings and high pay and our infrastructure is huge and fancy like IT business park. Everything so organised, corporate and professional. I'm glad that I'm working in a much elite and professional environment. Good Hike in salary and we get many benefits. They really value us here. It's a mixed culture. ACTREC is like a dessert hollow from inside and spoiling TATA'S reputation. Very negative and Bad ambience and bad infrastructure with mean unprofessional proffessors. They are bias towards outsiders and opposite gender. Don't work here. You can get much better environmet. Cancer patient and candidates, try CMC Vellore and St John's hospital Bangalore. They are very polite, NABL and NABH accredited. They are trained on how to behave and talk (soft skills) and they are much talented. They pray before every surgery also. Even the campus is alive and happy.

This is a hell for employees. If you are on contract basis in preventive department service building, beware there is a hell lot of politics. The PI and CO-PI are extremely good and helpful, but the person (middle man) through which your work is presented are on another level. Firstly, they must not recruit a BDS because the world knowns BDS has hell lot of ego, they are not doctors we call them Dentist and everyone knows they don't get admission anywhere so they go for Dentistry. They have a fake image of themselves as some big surgeons. Sometimes these BDS are also looking the patients with breast or cervix cancers which I still don't understand (going through Google knowledge and experimenting on patients). The treatment of patients as well as staff is not good. The BDS which I had I pray everyday that her karmic actions destroys first her personal life and later her career and forever she remains slaves of the Bosses because she deserves hates. The extreme restlessness night which we had to go through because of dentists like her, she must go through the same. They should learn to stay on ground and be more humble and less egoistic. One day must come that BDS are sweeping the streets. What a terrible experience mentally. Extremely toxic behaviour. Stop posting BDS at the place of MBBS. BDS are not even close to doctors they are the fake imagination of self Doctors and praises themselves when the world doesn't. It's good that in Canada, UK, USA BDS are only called dentists or dental hygienist and not doctors, they must apply that same in India.

It is cheap and best hospital for cancer patients. Open to all. Due to which there is huge rush during all time. Doctors are not available on Saturday and Sundays. If you are visiting for the first time come in week days. You may have to stay for whole day here because every test and meeting with doctor will have long queue. Carry food and water. Snacks are available here. Car/Bike parking facility is also there inside the hospital.

Tata Memorial Centre - Advance Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer or the acronym ACTREC is where I underwent radiation therapy for my cancer. I am grateful to the doctors and staff for their extremely sympathetic attitude towards cancer patients. Beautiful campus and fantastic infrastructure. A big thank you ACTREC.

registration counter take 3 hrs to make one file that too private. 10 people standing at counter of no use. 4 people on desktop using their soft finger one by one on keyboard typing as slowly as possible. Such a recruitment. Such a shame. After 3 hrs patient reach the another counter to hear that time is over. Private patient of first number taken first and second number comes after seating for more than 2hrs waiting for more than 15 general patients being taken before. How's the process of taking private patients. ?? I Don't see any priority for private patients who is paying for the services. If Private patients and general patients are being treated same , there's no need of taking money in the name of private. Pathetic people,Pathetic management ,pathetic service.

Worst Hospital! Staff is very rude and cruel I took my mom there they are dragging the patients scolding them Shouting at them. Dr. Tejpal from Neuroncology dept shouted at my mother I was so helpless.
