Tata Charging Station - Electric vehicle charging station in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

Only 1 CCS charger here which was not even working...No attendant which is needed for first time customer visits.. Tata needs to have some shame that it is charging Rs. 150 for every 15 mins of fast charging, ideally it is their duty to provide low lost charging facilities with much more number of working charging stations

Staff was helpful, we were looking for a fast charger on our way to Navi Mumbai which we found here with 25KW charging. We called up the number found on Google and staff came out immediately for help. Great service!

Last update 8-Dec-2020: One CCS2 cable is made available for general public. Meaning, good for Nexon EV, Cona and SZ :-) thank you Tata Power!! All the chargers were working when I visited but there was no one to help. The CCS chaging plug went into the socket of my Nexon EV. The machine has a QR code (see the pic) but there is no mention of which app to use! It says to tap your RFID card. I tried my debit card. The machine did recognise it and the charger got locked into the car socket and the display showed time and KW but both were stuck at zero. The charging never started. I had to push the orange emergency stop button on the left side of the charger to unlock it! There is no phone number mentioned. No name mentioned of the app to be used of the details of the RFID card. I reached home with 6% SOC with the AC turned off sweating in the humid heat. UPDATE: I came to know after speaking with Tata Power EV charging specialist that this is their test facility and not available to general public. There is only one charger available for taxis Bharat DC001 (evarito and e2o type socket). CCS2 type (Cona, Nexon or ZS) will not be able to fast charge here.

The Tata power charging station Location: excellent. Parking not an issue. Charging: the EV charging experience was good. Facilities: they have such a big power station but for their EV charging clients they don't have a simple toilet. Now even shade to sit along. The only good thing is that their charging worked.

You need to understand which charger you car will support, ensure your car is on hand brake. Rest follow instructions on app, charging station screen and car dashboard. Smooth, self-help setup

There are 4 chargers, one of which fitted my car. But that was not working. Maybe the internet connection was weak/unavailable? But we didn't get to charge the car

Most of the times it shows error and you will not be able to charge your Tata Nexon or Tigor here. There is also no attendant and Tata motors helpline is also helpless to solve these issue. Out of 4 times I visited here in a month Jan 2022 I did charge the vehicle only once and had to return 3 times .

No staff to explain the procedure. Very difficult for first-timers to charge their cars independently. There should at least be a printed Standard Operating Procedure or instruction manual displayed, in the absence of people to guide.
