Taste of india - Restaurant in Behlolpur - Kurukshetra, India

This is the Dhaba where the buses generally halt. The food here is okayish but the service is worst. Do not expect hygiene here. The service givers here are not interested in serving people. They just pass on the blames and orders from one waiter to another. A lot of scope of improvement is there but since there is a lot of crowd here they don't bother.

Warning: Deceptive Practices at Taste of India restaurant Beware of this restaurant! They operate without providing a menu, forcing customers to rely on verbal descriptions. Once you order, they attempt to overcharge you, even for basic items like onions and butter roti, without your consent. Additionally, they seem to have a suspicious tie-up with bus drivers, making every bus stop there, facilitating a systematic rip-off. Stay away from this fraudulent establishment to protect your wallet and have a hassle-free dining experience elsewhere.

Very Bad and Cheated experience. Initially when i ordered food i asked the waiter for the price and they told me that the butter chicken was 180 ( in Hindi ) and later when they billed me they gave a bill for 580 ( and when i argued they said i said 580 only in hindi ) ( Note that they both sound similar when told in hindi ( thats their first scam, so please ask for the menu card before ordering the any food , even free water . I think they might charge for that also ) I don't understand why people cheat in food business, If they are serving good meal then they should charge reasonaly. I had butter chicken ( Their most famous one ) and 2 rotis , also some free salad that they gave. They charged me with 798 rs in total . I haven't had a butter chicken and that too half plate for 580rs in my whole life ( Even in a 7 star hotel they wont charge this much ) and the butter naan was 70 each , salad was 40rs that I thought was complimentary ( my mistake ). I dont have any problem in giving this much price for food, but what they do is pure cheating. All travellers who goes to manali or himachal pradesh should avoid this restaurant and should blacklist them . Even while booking bus ticket , you should drop a comment to not stop for dinner at this restaurant. Kindly please be cautious about these fraudulents. I sincerely hope that their family wont be better with this kind of cheating .

Poor service and too much over charging beyond limits I ordered half dal and 3 chapattis and he took rs.356 from me. Taste also poor. No menu and waiter don't accept their own words told by them earlier

It was a fine experience for me as the lemonade I asked for was served well. It gave me the coolness and calm which I looking for with barely 5 mins wait. Haven't tried other dishes, but I also observed an ice-cream stall which I will surely try out if the weather allows. Lemonade cost Rs 60 which as per the quantity I found it to be good enough. The staff felt a bit on the arrogance side, by the expressions at least. Asking me 7-8 times for having food and sitting (I wanted to do everything else but sit!). The parking space was huge, 2-3 Zingbus could been easily parked at a single time. I'd say they have got variety of south indian dishes and I'll try some of that if I happen to cross paths with this again in the future. Hope this review helps someone Have a great day ahead!

My Worst experience in life , the worker are in a drink . They are misbehaving with costumer. I suggest you not to hve food at this restaurant

These guys are crooks. Please do not give them even 1 ruppee of business. They are charging huge amounts for small portions. They refused to show menu card so that bill can be shown only later. They are also selling alcohol (mostly without license) at double the MRP. Total scammers, please do not eat here.

This is very 3rd class hotel .... this people not giving service properly.... they are hide there food menu card....and after lunch or dinner taking more charge on food.....Every people.... please don't come here....and beware about your money
