Taste of India - Restaurant in Puri - Puri, India

We were starving in Puri as we couldn't find any vegetarian restaurant. Finally somehow found this place where you get tasty snacks if you don't feel like having rice or meals. Sweets were also good. But the service is very very slow .

Visited for the 1st time on a recommendation by my friend and i expected it to be too expensive but its in a good price with a perfect ambience. Prices are like 50 to 100 on an average. The staffs are polite and super fast. They took order for 6 people with 10+ items and everything was served within few minutes. They gave us chatney,sambar and other side dishes for n number of times without any extra charges.

atmosphere is good, cannot say the same about the food. food was not good. cold and weird taste. tea was bearabale. ambiance is good only above the eye level. sofas had dust, the exterior of the restraunt is under construction unlike the photos here. touching the menu card itself meant eashing hands for another 3 mins. basically no hygeine maintenance.

We ordered noodles and sandwiches which were good although the prices were quite high. Service was fine but one of the waiters was looking at us very weirdly which made us uncomfortable. Ambience is good . Overall good experience

The food is below average, all the gravies are served cold at room temp. Also, it was very spicy. The interior of this restaurant looks new and high end but the food worth half of the price. The GulabJamun was fresh and good in taste Service has a lot of room for improvement.

Veg food available. without onion and garlic on request. The khaja (not kept open like in other shops in Puri) costs 140 per kg, but they give a per piece price of a whopping 60 per khaja if you want to eat there. Better to pack it by weight and then eat it as you like.

Delicious sweets and South Indian food. Staff is nice too. They offered us Chhena Poda and Khaja to taste for free, these sweets were very delicious. Idli, dosa, rava dosa were all good.

It's a very good restaurant in Puri. They serve very tasty food. The ambience is good and hygienic. Highly preferred. It is mostly recommended for breakfast and sweets.
