My recent visit to Tashi Taki restaurant left me with mixed feelings. This eatery, conveniently located on the road, caters to travelers with a variety of food options, including thalis, maggi, wiwi, fish, and more. While the place has its merits, there's certainly room for improvement. One aspect that impressed me was the quick service. The staff was efficient in taking orders and serving the food promptly, which is crucial for a roadside stop. However, this efficiency seemed to have a downside. The food appeared rushed and prepared in a hurry. Although the menu looked promising with its diverse selection, the taste and quality of the dishes didn't quite live up to expectations. It felt as though the kitchen was focused more on speed than on ensuring the food was cooked to perfection. In conclusion, Tashi Taki is indeed a decent option for a quick pit stop on a journey, offering a variety of choices. The speedy service is commendable, but it comes at the cost of food quality. It's evident that the kitchen could benefit from taking a bit more time to prepare dishes with care and attention. With some improvements in this area, it has the potential to be a standout roadside eatery.

Pure Vegetarian. Small Restaurant but food is good. Had breakfast here. Not fully Punjabi Stle but tasty. Very friendly staff..

Stopped by for lunch on our way to the Taj Chia Kutir hotel. Food was decent quality Nepalese food. Ordered chicken momos, veg thukpa and mutton thali for food. Overall food was decent quality and decent prices. Also ordered soda lime water and it was great, not too sweet.

Nice place. Good atmosphere, decent. Beautiful surroundings. Had makaibari tea here.

Good food at affordable price. Since it is located at pankha bari road, very few restaurants are there so it's better to get food and snacks.

On the way to airport we visited this hotel... Had breakfast here, it was good.. We ordered paneer paratha, aloo paratha, breas omlet and masala tea.. Food was good.. Service was quick.. Washroom is outside and it was clean too. Chocolates, snacks, biscuits, canned juices are also available..

On the way to Siliguri from Darjeeling very good location area called Pankhabari. Tashi Taki Restaurent. Here tried chicken momo. Good but no body provide soup with momo. Toilet available all indian style. Tea coffee available. Veg nonveg thali available.

This is a good option for your breakfast on the way to Darjeeling, if you are going via Pankha Bari. Food quality is very good. Service was also prompt. Behavior is good. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.
