Very helpful store owners who will locate and give you almost anyt,! that you ask for. Can also get advanced texts by order. Pricing is minimum possible. Very popular store and students come in from all over Kanpur to obtain books unavailable elsewhere.

I don't go there as once bought two cello gripper refills which weren't working.went back to him,he suggested to throw it...but refused to refund/replace it.. I said,fine,there are other stationary shops too...

Full marks to their quality, service and behaviour

Even zero star rating would be nice for this place. Shopkeeper is rude and highly unprofessional.I once visited this book shop for some mathematics related book. He offered me book for 800 after discount which I bought online for 350 bucks. He started yelling at me,If you don't have to buy something then don't waste my time. I don't know what was IIT thinking giving contract to him.

Rude owner and unprofessional staff. Often takes advances for the product to arrange, but doesnt provide the product on the given time. Sometimes returned money after many visits. I will suggest to look the other nearby shops before purchasing here.

Good book store. Better than the other book store which is a bit expensive and fancy for no good reason. It is a plain shop with almost all the necessary items required. For things being sold at MRP, you can bargain a bit. They generally give sell at less-than MRP for most of stationary items. For UPSC aspirants - contact them for NCERT books of all class. In case not available - ask them to procure them for you.

Extremely unprofessional and rude. He keeps almost all the books which professors recommend, only reason people visit his shop. Had I been in allocation commitee of IIT, I would have scrapped his contract. My very first experience made me realise his callous attitude. He seems to be doing a favour on IITK community. Please avoid his shop as far as possible. Additionally, this guy sells items at a very high price. Normally you get a good discount on books and stationary outside, I realised that when I made a purchase from parade market.

It's not a big stationary shop where you'll expect everything you want but yeah it supplies all basic stationary items along with TA set as well as LAN cables too.
