It's a junction, but not a single major station is in reach of this station despite of Amritsar only. Three coach DMU trains (train bus) are only available, not so proper on time everyday. Cleaning & hygiene is not up to mark. Staff is average good & helpful.

Also this junction is connected to beas via train line.Fare is cheap as compare to bus service to different locations on this route.Waiting hall is available on this railway station.
