This is one of the best places I visited in Himalayas. If you don't want to do rigorous trekking but are interested in relaxing on a weekend and enjoy pleasant weather with good food, good views and calm surroundings with your loved ones, this is the place. Not top rated for their infrastructure but they makeup in their services.
Place was very cozy and the view was spectacular. Added comfort to the whole journey. Resort manager Sandeep was very hospitable and made our stay very comfortable. Staff were really kind.
this is the worst experience that one could have Firstly, when we reached the resort we were told that we are supposed to stay in the rooms located in the BASEMENT. this is what they do with customers who book through other websites After lot of hue and cry they gave us room on the ground floor all the rooms were filthy and dirty. completely dark.... lgihts not working.... bathroom fittings were rusty..... no toiletries....and despite repeated calls no one provided the toiletries... had to get them from the market. Room service was one amongst the poorest. Food is extremely expensive. cold coffee was worst. staff: one of the rudest staff that we experienced. not at all cooperative. this lady namely Pallavi must be removed immediately. She has no sense of hospitality. Least bothered about the comfort of guests and only money minded They knew that there is nothing nearby to buy so they will harass you for everything Even at the time of billing they tried to cheat us ..... and billed us wrongly... around 20% of the bill was inflated and forged. the appliances in the room were not working and they didn't even bothered to repair it for our entire stay Complete waste of money
The staff was rude, the property wasn't maintained, rooms were untidy and even the intercom wasn't working. I complained but they didn't fix it. When we checked out they said there were blood stains on the bedsheet and that was chocolate which they figured out later on and even they apologized but how can they say such things when they're not sure! I won't recommend tarika resort to anyone!
Good location. However, not so well managed. At our arrival, staff at reception was absolutely clueless of our booking status which we had done well in advance and took some time to set it straight. Rooms are not in the best condition. Heater was like leaning tower of Pisa and could have surrendered at any time. Walls were chipped and missing the aesthetic appeal. Apparently, Balcony was not broomed in the recent past. Food: given the ultra remote location (which is a plus point), management is trying to take full advantage of it and offering food at unbelievable prices. Customer doesn't have any choice to exercise but surrender.
Location of stay was good, but it's a very poorly maintained resort. After check-in we found intercom not working, TV set top box not there, geyser not working, had to use chilled water for bath. No cups or sugar in tea maker, staff doesn't listen to your request. We had to go down to their reception multiple times to get these things repaired and first day of our family holiday was just ruined in handling room issues. Extra bed, which was part of our booking plan, we got it in midnight only, that too after 4-5 reminders, after we were already slept. Broken door lock and window lock kept us stressed about safety of our belongings throughout our stay. Thier response to any complaints was pathetic and for any request wait time was 2-3 hours. Overall, it's a waste of money!
This resort was not close to the main city. It was a very big property and they were under staffed. The room services were very slow due to large distances among there kitchen and stores and rooms. The toilets were stinking with no ventilation. The room was unhygenic with unsafe doors with insects and spiders roaming here n there. There wasn't air conditioning even after mentioning in there catalogue. The lawns were not maintained which caused a lot of mosquitoes. The rooms were tighter than in photos. The washroom didn't have apt water. There wasn't any provision of hot or cold water in the shower, it was either cold or hot. The swimming pool was not free for the guests. There weren't any additional services as all of them were paid except the activity center. The restaurant served a vast menu but the food quality was not good. They forgot to serve the sides with the dishes. They were short of alcholic beverages and served flat beer. The snacks were tastless and the breakfast was cold. The only thing good in the restaurant was the coffee that too from the machine which was self made. The reception area was very uncomfortable with insects and a lot of heat due to glass surrondings. My overall experience was not good and I wouldn't recommend spending money here. Personally I wouldn't visit this property ever again.
If you believe in magic, this is where you would see it turn into a reality. The temple in my dreams has a magical magnetic vibe that just pulls you towards it and fills you with positivity and a magical energy. The beauty lies s in its simplicity an
Gurudwara Sahib Chail is strategically located in the lap of the Himalayas, at an altitude of approximately 2,250 meters. This breathtaking setting not only provides spiritual serenity but also offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and for
It was all that's needed. Perfect Tents and very clean space with best scenic views... Food was amazing. The host was very sweet he took us for Trek which was one of the best experience. We all really enjoyed it. Over all best stay place to take your
Rooms were clean and view from the balcony is very beautiful. Car parking infront of the hotel. Bed were comfortable. It's a homestay, so you have a big dinning table in the hall outside your room where you can sit with everyone and enjoy your food.
