Taranga Hill Wildlife Sanctuary - Wildlife refuge in Timba - Mahesana, India

Best natural place in North Gujarat. It is like a hill station for the Districts nearby. There is a wonderful Jain temple. And there are some Jain temples on different different mountains. So one can do tracking also. When I last visited this place, I started tracking from Taran-dhoran and by the route of mountains I reached Taranga hill. Row natural advanture you will get here.

You must visit this place after a little rain. This place will be full of greenery and if you are fond of nature then you will enjoy a lot. There is a hill to climb but it is not for trekking, there are stairs from bottom to top so you will not enjoy climbing the mountain but after reaching top you will find yourself in jannat.Let's talk about the best road I've ever been on. The road after Prithviraj Chauhan Chowkdi Timba is the road to the Jain Temple and the hill, it is like a small session of ghats. If you like ferries then you will enjoy riding this road but it is not a long journey, after 10 minutes ride you will find yourself at the destination.There is a Jain temple (not on the hill). Basically when you reach there the first thing you will see is a Jain temple. But photography and videography is not allowed there so it is better that you do not do it. According to me if you want to enjoy the best by visiting this place then you should go after little rain or you can go when it is raining lightly.

Surrounded by hill. Will look good in rainy season. You can climb or track on mountains if you have buffer time. No shops for food snacks waterbottles. Lunch dinner available at Jain bhojanshala.

Great place, great atmosphere. It is a great place to spend your whole day. You can start your day by visiting early morning. Visit the main temple then you can do little trekking on one of the high hills. Trekking is fun but little tiring but hey give yourself enough time and you'll find it to be easy. You can easily reach on top in 30-40 mins with taking enough rest. And there a lot to explore in surroundings.

Scenery is awesome in monsoon season. Good location for short and long drive.

This place is very beautiful. In the range of Aravali here lies a piece of peace. The temple is very well decorated and it has 3 more small temples in 3 nearby hill tops. People go there on their faith and i must say it's a bit difficult to climb up, but the joy you will feel after reaching the top is serene. So, if possible please try to climb at least one naming Koti Shila. The scenic beauty from there is also wonderful, this beauty cant be defined by words.
